Though he is not my own, I will take
care of this baby,
So that when he grows up I can request
him to do things for me.

Hi zhawee!! Do you love babies? Do you find them cute and adorable? Taking care of babies is a huge responsibility. Whatever your reason for taking care of that baby (even if he is not yours) is a heroic act. I wonder, do you work as his baby sitter? Or the baby does not have parents (are they away?) that's why you are taking care of him? Always keep in mind that a big responsibility is in your hands. The child will be dependent on you for a VERY LONG time, so you must be prepared for that. Every thing you do for that baby, he will carry until he grows old. His attitude, his health, his intelligence, the way he deals with others, the way he sees life, etcetera and etcetera is influenced by how you take care of him and how you brought him up. So I just hope that you are prepared for all these, for being a parent to a baby.

Hello zhawee! You're so sweet and a little funny. Well, actually we do have the same situation. I am taking care of my niece now because her mother is financially handicapped for now so I feed them both.^^ It is nice to take care of a baby though there are some difficult things we need to do in order to take good care of them well. Like changing diapers, feeding, giving them a bath and playing with them. But you know what, babies are so cute and innocent. Whenever we look at them and we see their smile, it melts our hearts with joy and love. I love my niece very much. I want to raise her well and give good education. I am not expecting anything in return but what matters me most is how she would be like when she grows up. I will be proud if she grows up with good manner, smart and have a successful life.
Don't expect too much that in the end the baby that you are taking care of will do whatever request you tell him to do or else you'll be disappointed.
Happy mylotting!!

Though he may not be your baby, if you were tasked as her nanny, you sure should take good care of him, as if he is your own.
But to request him to do things for you as he grows up is a bit selfish to me.
