Frech nails

A friend thinks about having her nails done, I mean artificial nails that are glued on top of her own ones. I don't think that is a good idea as I have heard that you have a very hard time discontinuing that if you so want to at some point because your own nails suffer a lot from the whole procedure. Is that true? Any experiences? Thanks!

I have never had fake nails because I would worry about infections. I also think it ruins your real nails and it takes a long time to recover from the damage done.
I do think they are attractive, but the time and risk are not worth it to me. Also, when someone with false nails loses one or brakes one of two it really look awful and they can't always have them fixed right away.

I don't have yet experience in doing that but actually I was already planning to do that coz they look so attractive to see but post make me think of it. I might ask somebody then if this is a good idea so I won't sacrifice my nails to suffer. Thanks for this post anyway.
