Getting things done

I have recently begun to read the book "Getting things done" byDavid Allen. Has anyone of you read it? I like it, however I am not sure how practicable it will be in everyday live. Do you have any experiences with this book and using the methods? Thanks!

"Getting things done" by David Allen. I have not read this book yet. I think I did see it last time I was at the bookstore. The title looks quite impressive. Is it about maintaining efforts and keeping a positive attitude to have things done what needs to be done ?
