Mylot is boring. What can you say?

Well I will disagree with your title totally because for me mylot is the best place where I not only learned so many new things but also I learned how to write and how to present a thinking process. I think for me mylot is the one who taught me how to write and how to explain your point of view. So you have to bring some good and interesting topics just like you bring today and make sure you have friends who can post answers against your topic and during that try to have fun and never think about earnings but learning is the best available thing on mylot

I truly don't find it boring so far. There are so many people here of different interests and different episodes in life whose reaching out to friends even if they don't know of matters. And there are many times that when someone needs advice and it is a good feeling to some way help, because reaching out and communicating and getting and sharing valuable ideas makes us feel as though they are close families. And who knows that if some of these people who are especially depressed are alone in life and at least sometimes they have something to do and some worthy people to talk to. And if I should ever get bored or think that I am wasting my time (which I know won't happen unless I'm going for something more important like taking care of my baby after having labor), then I should have to take my graceful exit and not bother airing my boredom that might hurt a lot of members.

Hi meticulo! I feel that way sometimes! There are really those days when I can't find any interesting discussions where I can reply to. I keep on browsing and browsing but there is nothing. And I have experienced times that there have been no new discussions posted within a few minutes. It's really a wonder how can that happen when there are lots of members here. And, unfortunately, my discussions under my interests do not get much attention probably because it is very specific and those that usually comment on my discussions under that interest are currently inactive. So it adds to my boredom, too. That is why I'm really glad if my friends keep on posting new discussions so I can have new discussions to reply on.

This happens to me sometime. That is why I often take a break from mylot. Sometimes for a week or 2 or maybe a month.. I keep checking in, but I will be busy for a week or 2 and then I get bored again.. I just make sure to not go too far or for too long so I don't lose the money that I earned so far.

Hi meticulo! Yes that is what I felt last year when I am still new to the site. I found it boring because they keep asking the same question and the topic itself looked kind of boring. That's last year story. Now I found it interesting and thanks to all my friends in my list for starting a good discussion everyday. The best way to make the discussion looks interesting is the way we answer the topic. Most of the time I just read topics and write comments from my friends' topic as we already know each other so the conversations is much more interesting. If we just like talking to ourselves, plain conversation, we will find that it is exactly boring!!(^^) I rarely start my own discussion and it already more than a month without new discussion so I find friends who like to start discussions and have a fun conversation here. I know you know that very well as you've been here longer than I am, right??(^^)

hello, So, if you feel bored dont do any reply in mylot or dont browse anymore because in the end you will still be bored if you are not happy doing some thing here then you can stop it. right? Sometimes I also find myself like that but I just stop and rest for a while because I know I will just end up nothing.

Hi meticulo, I agree MyLot is boring. I am not complaining just voicing my opinion. I search and search too for discussions that I am interested in or one that will catch my attention. Sometime I say to myself, "Get a life, I know you can find something else worthwhile to do." But MyLot is not the only thing that I do during the day. I have a lot of time on my hand so when I can't find anything else to do I MyLot. And by the way thanks for the discussion it give me another one to post a response too. (lol).

I feel the same way sometimes.I want to make money by answering some interesting questions but on somedays there are no interesting discussions to choose from and then i get really bored and log off and make very little money on some days.There needs to be more interesting dicussions here on mylot.But somedays there are a lot and that's when i get excited.

Sometimes I get bored with even my most favorites sites so I do understand but I think you can still find a topic that will interest you. I tell you what I do sometimes; I am always needing information on something so I start my own topic to get advice from others. For example, I needed advice on what program to get for video editing so I just asked in a new discussion and got a lot of great responses. I find that anytime I need advice or information that the people here on mylot always come through for me and that makes me appreciate the site all that much more. Maybe you just need a change of scenery for a while and when you come back it will appeal to you again. I mostly take surveys online for my earnings and sometimes write articles. I also buy and sell on e-bay as well as some other ways of online earnings so when I come to mylot it is mostly for relaxation.

After repeating the same work for long period, I am sure every will feel boring. I did have the same experience too. I felt very boring, lazy and tire to start a new discussion, to respond and to comment. My mind was not here anymore. At last, I did not active in mylot for few weeks in order to refresh myself. Now, I am better now. ha! ha! I return to mylot again. I think you should try the same too.

I guess I don't get bored here because I come in spurts and when I get tired, I leave. I am not here all the time but when I'm here, I am pretty much on point, all around the site because I am looking for all of the wonderful things my friends are posting and learning about different things. If I feel something like that coming, I have many other online activities to keep me busy and I would just leave and return at another time.

I don't think MyLot is boring, but it can be draining when you only make up to a couple of cents for a question you ask or a response you given. I like responding but wish I could make so much more. I learn a lot from MyLot and answering questions is pretty fun.

I do get bored of it sometimes. This is the 1st time I have posted in awhile. I feel like I'm not getting anywhere too quckly here.

yeah, mylot bores me many a times. As i dont have many friends, so theres not much to discuss. Replying to random discussions bore me.

From time to time I do get bored and nothing really catches my eye. Especially when it a topic that has been repeated often. However I just try to answer things that might not really appeal to me so much, just to keep my writing consistent. Or I read what others have written regarding the topic to spark my interest. Sometimes I get burned out from writing and in that case I take a break for a few days. That always does the trick!

Hi meticulo. I think I know exactly how you feel. I understand your point. I get bored here too. Sometimes I feel like mylotting but I cannot find any interesting topic. I browse and browse and there are times I just can't seem to find a topic that I can relate to or I can respond too. Whenever that happens, I get so frustrated because I just felt like my time's wasted. But I just go back the other day and try mylotting again.

I guess you feel that way because at some time, you can't find a topic here in myLot that interests you. I sometimes feel that way, too. What I do is I just go take a short break from myLot and come back some other day. By that time, I would have found a topic to comment on. Or sometimes I create my own discussion, something that I am interested in. And when someone comments, I give them a reply, thereby creating my own discussion.

I would not say that Mylot is boring but as many of us use this a part time source of income we often end up being tired from work and even though we may see many interesting discussions we just dont have the determination toparticipate in them and then say that mylot is boring. What I do now is that I check the discussions posted in my interests and then reply to those discussions. By doing this I managed to reply to discussions that are of my interest and its keeps me active here. So try doing this and it may help..

mylot is really just a web page so people can offer opinions or someone on mylot to make money but if money was not born then will feel bored even more!! !!
