Have you heard the original version of "Best Thing I Never Had"?

Yesterday as usual I checked Billboard to know who's is #1 on Hot 100 Singles and Hot 200 Albums, then I checked on the news site and quite shocked that there was an original version of "Best Thing I Never Had" and it had been released, you may listen to it at this link; http://www.billboard.com/#/column/the-juice/beyonce-s-best-thing-i-never-had-songwriter-1005296982.story.
Honestly I don't know which version that I like, coz both sounds good, but for me the original version should be put in album and the final version should be remix. I don't think so that the final version is ballad, for me it's quite fast, ballad is like 1+1.
After you listen it pls give a feedback which version do you like otherwise just comment on it.

I have never heard of this song before. I really wished that I could turn listen from my speakers on this computer, but I am unable to, because no sound is coming from it. Oh man! Well, I am sure that one day this year, I will be able to listen to this song. I am sure that I will love it, because most of Beyonce's songs are brilliant!

Oh what a pity. Hopefully you'll get fixed your computer's speaker. I don't know how long will Billboard keep the link that I included. It's great song of course but apparently the song didn't do well in Billboard Hot 100.

Really? I thought beyonce is the original singer. I never heard that before. Maybe that was a long time ago when it was released. Beyonce is really good.

I first heard her sing it on American Idol Finale and I fell inlove with the song. Oh really? "Best Thing I Never Had" has two versions?

I've been listening to the ballad version of it but after listening to its faster and much more cooler beat version I changed my mind. I like the latter better. So, the up beat tempo is the real original version of it?

Yes the up beat tempo is the real original version of Best Thing I Never Had. I just wish I can download it and keep it in my player coz the link in Billboard is only a streaming not downloadable.
I do love 1+1, though I haven't seen it on American Idol Finale but when I listen to it I just like it.
