Monitor Failure

I've just connect the monitor of my friend to my own System Unit... The display is not good..What might be the problem? Is it my System Unit or the monitor.. Does the monitor and System Unit should be compatible? Please help me with these... thanks and more power to all myLot user.

Yup, as far as i know, it needed some update driver. you can lend your friend's monitor CD driver and install it to your System unit then hopefully the monitor display as good as it supposed to be. :)

Check the Data Cable of your CPU is attached properly to the monitor. Some rays emitting source should not be placed near the monitor i.e. cell phone, remote, Buffers etc. Then you should check whether the video drivers are installed? You can also go to monitor settings menu from the monitor to resolve your screen problems.

Monitor and system are different. A monitor can be connected to any system. If there is a problem in display then the system's video driver must be installed. If the problem still persists theres a fault in the monitor.

Dear silver_sharkbait there is something wrong to your system unit.It might be your video card inside the system unit or the cable that connecting to your monitor.
