Looking at the computer for so long will actually start bugging my eyes out. e-books might be a little more convenient, but I can't read for any length of time. I enjoy having something physical in front of me and there isn't a glare and you can look at it longer without your eyes having to adjust to the real world. Anyone else feel like this. (ebook can get corrupted and the real book can tear.. I suppose it depends on preference.

I just like reading from real books. I like being able to turn the pages. It's also easier to go back or skip around through the book. I think online textbooks are the worst. I think I'm just used to real books. Maybe in the future people will start preferring e-books.

I prefer the real books, though I do have an ebook reader and use it for some occasions. We used to drive a truck cross country and it was much more convenient and took up a lot less space in the truck than carrying a lot of books. On the other hand there is just something missing in an ebook vs a real book with paper pages that you can actually turn and even fold.

I love real books. The smell (lol) the pages. The thought that people before me have read it and learned. The last lar only replies to used books. I feel e-readers are just so impersonal. Kind of like text messaging someone "ilove you" instead of saying I face to face. I just think for me reading a book is personal and I enjoy actually holding the book and letting friends borrow them. Plus I believe I would get a headache trying to read a book from a screen.

I always prefer e-books rather than the real books because I can carry around 20 books in a single tablet which is enough to kill time since I am always travelling. The best part about this is that you can read books that depends on your mood, at least you have a vast selection to choose from instead of just carrying a single one.

My first response would be to say that I prefer real books. I too love the smell of a book, the feel of the pages, the cover. I find it easier to refer back to things on previous pages in a real book. However, having said that, I also love my Kobo Reader. I love that it holds so many books, it's lightweight. I can shove it in my purse when I go to appointments such as doctors where I'll be waiting to get in, take it to the hairdressers with me, traveling etc. I also like that it has a built in dictionary. So, I guess my answer to this question would have to be both, lol.
