What is th worst insect you can think of....

was debating about putting this in rant but i will keep it here.
I very nicely asked the flying stinging insects who have decided to make a part of my home their home to leave. I explained that they did not choose wisely where to make their home and that dive bombing my head as I was leaving was not very neighborly. They did not listen.....so i nuked them.
It was wasp/hornet/whatever other stinging insect armageddon at my house. I went through 3 cans of the spray stuff that kills them on contact. I satured 7 different hives, 3 of which were within 5 feet of my front door. the can says to spray the hives again in a few hours and then let them sit for about 24 hours before moving the hives.
so what is your least favorite insect and or funny stories to add?

I'm an Entomologist! I love insects! But no worries, though. I understand why and how some people think of insects as creepy crawlers, gross creatures, etc. I even have my own list, but to top it all, I really hate cockroaches. Especially the flying ones.

I work in a school, my desk was in this hole in the wall room right next to the boiler room. I would see cockroaches 2 and three times a week, especially if I was the first in and was the one turning on the lights. They are truly creepy.
I understand the place for the stinging insects, alot of them help to pollinate flowers etc, but when they are dive bombing my head and i have a minor allegry to them, I am not going to risk that my child may have a severe allergy to them, and just let them invade. I was nice and asked them to leave first.

found a new kind in my yard. from looking at pictures it is a cicada killer wasp. It is roughly an inch to an inch and a half long and looks deadly. it seems to have made its home right at the foot of the deck stairs. Guess I need to go get more bug killer for the next bugageddon.

for me i think the worst insect for me is the cockroach because they can also live inside of your house and they easily multiply,they can damage your things too and put some mess in your clothes when they poop their,and the worst is when they fly.

I have to say that the worst insect for me are the cockroaches. Those roaches are annoying especially the flying ones. They also leave eggs at places that can be really annoying. I have been thinking lately of what is the use of a cockroach in this world. Is it a decomposer insect? Or just a disease carrier? I really hate them that when I see them I always kill them with so much force using my slippers. They are very creepy and undesirable.

Asyria, you sound scary using the terms nuking and armageddon. My least favorite insects are read ants because they're numbers are indestructible. Sometimes I heat up my food and when I open the pot they're still ALIVE.
Red ants are the only ones that aggressively bite me. One time, I got insect bites all over my body. Am I sweet? NO! Am I candy? NO! Still I wasn't spared.
Cockroaches I can deal with because they don't usually swarm in numbers but I stand helpless against a colony of ants.

Me,i don't like cockroach, at first i just ignore them.. I just let them to be there because i don't want it to fly if i fail to strike it. But when it start to fly even I don't do anything to it, I will call my dad or husband to kill it. Is lizard an insect or just small creatures only?..I also have short story about it. My husband is is sleeping until something is walking and walking to his face until he awoke because of it and he found out that it is a lizard walking to his face while he is sleeping.

Well, for me I would definately have to say that it is a Cockroach. These are some of the most nastiest things that a person can ever have in their place. These actually are ugly and multiply quite quickly and can bring much disease as well. If you have never had to deal with any, you are lucky as there are also other grouse and annoying insects out there, but to never see one again especially around my house area is great News for me.

The worse insect to me is a centipede. Where i'm from it has so much, especially in the house. I got sting once when I was sleeping in my bed, I cried so much because it hurts so bad. Its just like a stinging burning feeling that just intensifies like every minute. I would never forget that night. I think everyone in my house hold got sting by one before. I also do not like the flying cockroach, they are so scary you never know where they are going to fly. Every time I saw one the flew in my direction and just scared the crap out of me.
