MyLot sign in ads

O'K, I understand that the ads that MyLot has every so often when you sign in where you have to go through them to get to the start page are necessary. But I do object to the one that I encountered today that when you click on skip it goes on to a follow up ad that has no way out and you have to go back and click on the MyLot url in your favorites to get to MyLot.

There is an easy way out. Login and tick the 'keep me signed in' tab. The next time you login you will get myLot right away. There is yet another way. Go through emails that you receive from myLot informing you of notifications.

Ok so it's not just me! I find this very irratating, but... I am trying to figure out WHY they are doing it in the first place. Are these sites sponsoring them in some fashion or is it just that they will get money from us as leads. I just don't understand it though I know that I hate that I have to go through so many and I can not have pop ups on my computor, it has a habit of crashing on me.
