Oftentimes, we immediately take some medicine to every minor bodily aches or pains that we feel not realizing what it would do after to our body. We may get well from
those pains but we are tiring our kidneys because of the medicine residue which usually settle in our kidneys.

Self medication as well as use of over the counter medicines is not wise at all. All the medicines have some side effects, some are hepatotoxic having adverse effects on the liver, some are toxic to the kidney. So it is always desired that if you have any minor ailment, better stick to the 'wait and watch' policy and if it does not heal naturally, visit a doctor and follow his or her advice.

Great topic.
I think if we can do without pharmaceutical products our kidneys would be in better shape.
It seems the best strategy is to take food-based medicines or alternative medicine.
Some of us will have ailments that are not preventable. But those of us who can stay fit with physical activeness and right nutrition must maintain it because
The truly healthy body heals itself using the right food, the right physical activity and the right alignment of the mind and soul, if you will ... I think :)
What do you think ?

I agree with you sir because I have noticed that every time I take an over the counter medicine like antibiotics or even those prescribed by the doctors,I usually have peptic ulcer. And because of that experience, I refrain from taking these medicines produced by the pharmaceuticals. I usually go herbal, both in food and medicine.
