Maximum number of discussions you have started in 1 day

It really doesn't matter how many discussions you START in a day. What really matters is how many you are going to turn into REAL discussions by commenting on the responses you get. MyLot rewards us ONLY for our OWN participation in discussions. Something which is just a topic with some responses is not YET a discussion. It only becomes one when you have something of substance and quality to say in reply to those responses. Just saying "Thank you for responding" is not useful and will earn you nothing! Think of a discussion as a conversation. Starting a discussion is one thing, but knowing how to continue it and turn it into a sharing of information, opinions and ideas is quite another. I start, maybe, one discussion a year but I earn here by responding with (I hope) good quality responses which I hope people find useful and informative. I also often use the MyLot Search facility to get information for my responses and this very often will give me a 'reward' from time to time of up to 20 cents.

I tend to respond to more than I start. I think I went a bit crazy today and replied to at least 40 discussions. Usually I start one and reply to about 6 or 7 when I log on in a day. I guess I'd rather make lengthier more informative posts rather than a high number. It seems to do better with the earnings too.

In mylot I am having fun. I have been starting 2-3 discussions a day and reply more than 10 responses. I remember the highest I have been paid in one day is 30 cents.
