Are there any legitimate companies that offer work from home?

I read every now and then advertising from companies that offer work from home. Mostly without the required training, only PC skills. To me it always seems extremely dubious, because in most cases not even the ads is what you must do. And often the salary is very unrealistic promises. I wonder whether there are legitimate companies that offer something. What are your experiences? Please no guesses, but I'm interested in your experiences or those of your friends. It can of course be negligible and so that the ratio of one to the other jobs do not deserve much. Also paid by me on a performance basis, but it is fair and not rip off!

Most of the legitimate ones are jobs with call centers taking incoming calls (taking orders, customer assistance with their products, etc) and they have very strict requirements that you have to meet - separate room for office which is quiet, headset, computer requirements, phone requirements and even specific requirements about the type of internet connection that you can use. A phone company in my area started using people who worked from home for their "call center" - they did offer training; but, the requirements they had were not ones that I could meet in my home. Many call centers are doing this because it costs them less - you have to purchase and maintain the equipment; pay your utilities, phone, and internet costs; and provide your own work space. Also, many of them consider you a "private contractor" and leave you responsible for 100% of all taxes and providing your own "benefits".

An excellent resource is the Rat Race Rebellion website. They regularly screen their home-based job leads and warn against scammers. It was through them that I found out about myLot!

Well, my friend has started in as a call center and then get there after a while a home office, ie her boss has given her a laptop and a headset with a home and then she has worked from home. Maybe that would be an idea.

I can prove that there is a legitimate site that offers work from home. In the philipines, there is kgb. A texting support. My officemate have tried it. I think the maximum amount she has earned is 3thousand php. I tried it too. I applied thru online, took the exam and passed. But unfortunately, there is no open class yet. They told me they're gonna put me on waiting list until the next batch of trainees come.

Hey there sis! Just like you I've been searching the net for legitimate online jobs. So far, I've encountered excellent sites that truly pays. But since they are legit, some of them will require one-time payment but they'll definitely return your money back. Check out these links I found: legitonlinejob.com; realtranslatorjobs.com; freelancer.com and many more. But of course, here's one site that offers reliable jobs WITHOUT REGISTRATION FEES or any joining fees. All you have to do is to sign up, sell your best capabilities and abilities, pass the skills tests and interview which is followed when you apply for a certain job that fits your skills. There are tons of job postings over the site. Navigate to www.odesk.com. Hope that I helped you with something!
