shopping trolley - a shopping trolley

me and my other half are going food shopping tonight. for all you people in the uk, i am NOT tesco fan, i only like asda lol. it's cheaper, it's better laid out, there are better offers, and it does everything i want and need lol! .. there isn't an asda near me though, but there is one near where my mam lives, so she has very kindly agreed to get my daddy to pick us up, take us to asda and then she'll run us home again with our shopping, and we can call in for a wee visit too.. and to be honest, knowing my mummy, she'll probably pay for it too lol! but i'm sitting here trying to make a list of things i need and my mind is very nearly literally blank.. the essentials are one thing, but it's trying to arrange meals, and lunches, around what you need, what you can afford, what you already have, what you could do with having.. and if i get this will it go with this, AND this, so it isn't wasted etc.. it's such a pain, and i hate it, and it makes me just not even want to bother going food shopping lol! .. does anyone else hate food shopping? or what way do you organise yourself?

I am picky when it comes to groceries so it's mostly an In and out kind of shopping trip for me. I know what I like to eat and what I will eat for that week just by what I am craving. Now that I am starting to work at a grocery store it'll be even more easier for me to decide because when it comes shopping day I'll just see what's on sale, what looks good etc... and pick up a few things before leaving work.

when we go grocery shopping, we have to take my inlaws because my father in law has altzheimers and the mil does not drive. so each week it is quite an adventure. i dont mind it but i find it pretty boring.

haha atleast you have an adventure! the only adventure i have is trying to fit all the shopping into as little bags as possible so there is less to carry. it's nice that you take your in-laws :)
