Is it today in the Jewish faith a lawful divorce?

In my Bible studies I've read that the Old Testament permits divorce, not to be confused with adultery. Jesus, however, has abolished that and leaves only the lifelong marriage. The Cath. Church follows this tradition, yes. But what about the Jewish faith, because a divorce is permitted today?

They exist today as always. You have to go to the rabbi, who can dissolve a marriage. In Orthodox Judaism (which are not the Conservatives, but not liberals) must be a case, the divorcing wife of one of her male relatives, are best represented the father.

No, it is not. At least among the Orthodox Jews (the Conservatives) do not. There are also directions of Judaism, there may decide that only the man. But distinctions are indeed "makes secular" from running the Registry Office etc. Therefore, you can also get a divorce. Moreover, the perspective of the Catholic Church is not as strict. While it is still officially banned, but since the are doing in our part of so many people will ignore the fact. You can partially get married twice in church, everything seemed so.

Yes, as a Jew you can get a divorce, but it has to be done through a Jewish court, not through the state etc. And there are special rules for it. But it can be done, unlike for Catholics etc.

Well I would think that that jewish woulf follow their old ways as catholics do. Just because time has changed does not mean our religion is going to. Unless God himself says to change it through a prophet or through our Pope it won't change. I can be wrong. I want to look this up and find out for myself now.
