junk food for me, it would be rather: hamburger, fries, etc. ...
pizza does not seem to me to be part of this category of food ... it can be a very healthy meal ... (vegetables, seafood, ...) Finally, I think ...
Can you give me your opinion?
kiss to all!

I have always heard pizza crust contains especially healthy B vitamins not found in regular bread, so I feel justified in eating pizza.
However, like everything it has to be in moderation because pizza does have a lot of fat content from the cheese and sausage, pepperoni etc. It is one of my favorite foods.

thanks for the kiss! I have not had one all day!
Yes if you use the right toppings and oils like olive oil then it can be a healthy meal. I think the alternative fast food options like pizza hut pizza haven dominos don't offer quite as healthy options as authentic Italian pizza.

I think they start calling it junk food when the calories and carbohydrates start in large numbers.
My husband who is a diabetic its definately junk food for him because he cannot have that much bread. too many carbs, compound that with the tomato sauce, meats, veggies, and then the gooey cheese, it can be really hard on diabetics, those trying to lose or maintain weight, or have high cholestorel.
So basically anything we eat that we love to eat lots of it gets considered junk food because we are likely to eat more than the portion we should.

it is simply because what is known today is a pizza made ??with ham (often), with a lot of oil and tomato sauce industrial compound just 40% of tomato and some vegetables.
to eat real pizza, go in good pizzerias that make real pizza with a thin paste, tomatoes and a profusion of vegetables. In this case, nothing beats a good pizza.

I think
That the "junk food" would rather not sufficiently varied diet! Not meeting the needs of organizations, which themselves depend on the lifestyle and therefore can not be a value "standard".
There is also the phenomenon of eating quickly or unconsciously (eg watching a show, sports, series, set ... - on TV).

I don't think so. It is a delicious meal and contains nutritious materials.
