missing a tv show dilemma!

last night.. my fiancee.. missed one tree hill! dun dun dunnnn!! the end is upon us people!
she was soooo angry!! .. she couldn't believe that not only had she forgotten about it, but that even if she had remembered, she still couldn't have seen it, because we were out.
i mean literally, it looked like the world was going to end!!
she completely adores the show, and she was waiting to see what happened. not that i can remember last weeks episode ended on much of a cliffhanger, but lets face it, the show last week could have ended with all the characters sitting around watching paint dry and she still would have been dying to see it.
she makes all her arrangements around 9pm on a monday evening, just to watch this show. i mean, i missed the film ninth gate that i even started a discussion about watching or not.. and i wasn't in such a magnificent state of panic lol!
does anyone else have a tv show they are addicted to watching?

*stands up* Hello my name is Cupcakes....and I'm .....I'm.... A Degrassi addict...
I have been watching Degrassi since season one. It's on season 11 now. I seriously love that show! It's Canadian goodness! My dad lives in Michigan and wants us to come visit sometime. I have already calculated it would take me about 2 hrs to drive to Toronto from my dads house so we could watch Degrassi film. You think by now I would have outgrown a high school drama.. But no. Thank god my husband works for direct tv. I don't know what I would do if I could not Dvr it. Actually if he didn't work there we would have no cable or satellite because that crap is expensive . Anyways I feel your partners pain. Withdrawals are rough! Ha ha

haha!! this made me laugh so hard. i love that first line..i am an addict! lol!
sooo funny :) .. i don't know what DVR means? i take it you get cheap tv or something? how lucky are you! we have our basic channels over here, bbc1, bbc2, itv3, and channel 4, and channel5 .. and then we have cable, or satelite tv, and we also have a thing called a freeview box.. you buy it for about £60 and plug it into your tv and you get lots of extra channels :) soo thats good! lol if i couldn't see my name is earl, friends reruns, how i met your mother, or csi, i would completely fall apart haha!!

Yes! I love my name is Earl! Dvr is a box that records shows. We get it because my husband works for the satellite company. Basically say you want to go to bed early or you got errands to run. Just use remote and look for show. Hit record button and then no worries! The little Dvr records the show when it comes on and you just watch it whenever you want! You can also set it to record evey episode that comes on! That's how I have degrassi set so I never miss one! And my sis can come over and we have degrassi marathons!

haha thats so cute!! lol! me and my partner invite my friend and her partner over for "monday club" lol to watch one tree hill. aww we have that! we have sky.. and you can get a sky+ box that lets you record and rewind and pause live tv.. well actually WE don't have it, but it exists over here lmao!
