My good samaritan

It was around 10 pm when I was on my way home from work. Public Utility vehicles are rare to pass on my route since it's already late and most passengers would wait 2 blocks away from where I work at so I have no choice but to walk alone that night. When I was near in the church before I could reach the first block. a guy behind me asked for a 5 peso coin. Me, only have enough fare to go home so I told him in a nice way that I only have enough money for fare. Then his buddy went to me and asked again for 5 pesos coin. Then I told him the same thing - even showed him my coin purse. The other one, I noticed was looking on my bag. But didn't mind because I was dead tired at that time and all I want is to go home. Little did I know that a security guard who was on watch at that time in the church was observing us. When the two guys walked ahead, I followed but was stopped by the security guard. Told me they are robbers in the area and ff I don't wanna be robbed, I'll wait for a while or go the other way. I told the security guard that going the other way is very far and the public utility vehicles going on my way home is straight ahead and that is also the way were those two guys went. The security guard then told me to wait for him, he asked for his other partner to watch the church outside to that he could accompany me to the next block. I refused but he insisted - just wanna ensure my safety. I was so touched like I felt like I was touched by an angel. I am forever thankful to God for His kindness and for the security guard who is my good samaritan at that time.

You are really lucky and thanks there are still good samaritan out there. You have to be careful next time especially when you are alone. Bad people are always around and also waiting for a prey,so better careful next time. I am sure it is your angel in disguise who saved you that night. Have a good day jaiho®

now that is one good story that i know you will always feel the safety you felt everytime you tell this story. if you get older and have kids or grandchildren i am sure you will still feel the greatness of what had happened. i agree that you are been touched by an angel. you can not believe that it happened but it did. two thumbs up to the security guard who did that and i hope there are more people like him, who does not just observe but made effort to do something.

Yes, I was very touched by his effort. He has a good heart and I don't know how to repay him. I was thinking of giving him a midnight snack the next time I'll pass by that church. I hope we will meet again.

U'r lucky to meet someone like him, going out of his way, to ensure your safety when it's not included in his duties at work. He's one responsible man, and since he knows what's going on, why don't he call the police to arrest those robbers? Isn't that better in the long run, than to escort every single person he sees? Whatever it is, he's one kind man, and i would be very gladful to him if i'm there too.
