I was surprised to see today that Microworkers will no longer Paypal for withdrawal. I was nearing payout , so I clicked on Withdraw tab. And discover this. That means you can transfer your earning to Alertpay with extra 0.5% charge. Or else can transfer to your credit card. How do you see the changes? Personally it will not be good for me as I only have Paypal account. What can I do now?

I requested payout three weeks ago and I received the pin today. For sure I didn't know they have changed payout system. Good to be a mylotter, I will just cancel my paypal thing and redirect it to Alertpay... It seems that the management is changing every thing from the time they took over this company.

I don't know if the management is changing or not. But I have seen many changes in Microworkers. Though the credit card thing which now has been brought is good. But don't why they stopped payment via Paypal. Strange!

I got that information here on MyLot that microworkers management changed, we are lucky that it did not affect our earnings though but everyone now is feeling a pinch as jobs have gone down drastically. Do you believe this site gonna be online for the next ten years? I have a doubt.

You are actually right. The jobs has decreased drastically. When I joined I used to get 25-30 jobs after logging in. And now.. just 2-5. And the Hire me jobs also sucks, most of them are low paying. If it is going like this way I have doubt if it will online for next 10 years or not.

Its high time that people should have a back-up processor account in Alertpay. I would say that using Alertpay is less risky than paypal. A lot of business people I know have been shifting to 2co and Alertpay as paypal continues to create problems with their complex monitoring systems which limits accounts of people. I would recommend getting an account with Alertpay as it would definitely help you in the future as a back-up or primary processor if paypal plays some game with your money and account.

Yes! no doubt, Paypal Remains the most reliable processor, but then there are a lot of big IM'ers who are facing issues with paypal and many of the them are backing up or using other processors as primary processors now. Its better to have a back-up is all what I mean to say. It would help your business to survive in the long run if you have a back up plan.

Yes backing up is a good option as other payment also do not need any money to create account. So it is better to open some account there because you never know when you will need them.

It is not a good choice to depend only on Paypal. One should have another alternative of Paypal, who are engaged in online earning activities. Because I know some websites which does not support Paypal. For those we have to create account in Alertpay, LR etc. But I guess, Paypal remains to be the most reliable payment processor.

I do have the same wish since the more options for the members to cash out their money, the better it will be. I guess this problem was mostly because of the financial problem of microworkers. I suspect the microworkers does not have sufficient fund in payapl to make payment and they have not enough fund to top up their account too.

I also hope that it is temporary. I also hope the matter gets resolved soon. So that we can payout using Paypal.

Guess what, today I did some task at minuteworkers. Yes this website is also improving very fast. I think it will take the position of microworkers in no time. Moreover there are many task as compared to microworkers. And they have a active forum. But if microworkers went scam, it will be bad thing.

The fact that Microworkers stopped using Paypal as a payment processor represented a very unpleasant surprise for me,because I also consider Paypal to be the most reliable payment method and I prefer sites who use it and I hope they will have it back one day,but until that happens I'll use Alertpay.Anyway,I just hope that Microworkers will remain a reliable site because I have some dooubts about it after Paypal is gone.

I've also noticed a dramatic decrease in the number of tasks,so I am concerned and I'm afraid the future doesn't look bright for Microworkers.Anyway, there's also good news,I've just received my second payment, this time through Alertpay,so Microworkers is still legit.

You are right, number of task has been decreased dramatically. I an noticing this after the recent 2.0 update of Microworkers. After the update a new HM is added but task listed there are very low paying. So I can not comment on bright future of Microworkers. May be other similar sites taking the microworkers share.

Yes doubt is also in my mind after this step. Also you may have find that works on microworkers is now very small in number. I don't know why but these incidents are not good for a reliable website like microworkers. They have to increase the number of task available, unless new members will not get attracted to it. What is your opinion on this?

It's rather unfortunate. I did not know that. It is very nice to be aware about this. I do not know why they have stopped using paypal. It is the best. However it is as simple to open an alertpay account as it is to open a paypal account.

Yeah I agree that it is a big blow. As I mentioned earlier, paypal is certainly the best. So I really wonder why they have brought about this change.

There may have some issue with Paypal. But really I don't know much about it. Only I am hoping that Paypal option comes back for microworkers.

I agree with you. Yeah opening an alertpay account may be not that difficult. But I heard they deduct $15 when transferring money into Indian bank. Don't you think that is too much when paypal is charging only $1 and for above $150 Paypal charging nothing.

I requested my payout on last Wednesday and at that time the Paypal was available. But I haven't got my payment yet. I think I will receive the payment in these few days. Since right now I haven't reached my payout yet, so I can't see whether Paypal is unavailable. I am starting to feel worried since Paypal payment means stands for honest and reliable earning websites for me. I love China

Yes the paypal was available few days ago. But when I checked the option again today I found there was no Paypal option. You are right Paypal has been another name of reliable online money transferring in recent years.

Well I was working for awhile on that site but I stopped for some reason. I think it is unfair for them to make that changes at this stage where most have arranged payments through pay pal. That is one risk we have to take with online jobs. They may close for no reason at all and with no advanced announcements and we can't do anything to demand payment due us.

It is not the matter of fair or unfair. They have the right to change the terms whenever they want to. When a payment account of a site is disable, the first impression to me is the balance of the relevant site has not enough fund to make a payment. This is my guessing. I do have a feeling that the disable of paypal will not be a good sign to this microworkers.

Wow,really? That sucks.I do have an AlertPay account, but seems to me it doesn't support withdrawal in China.Last time I transferred the money there to my Paypal account by finishing a task here.Really not good news.

Certainly a very bad news for the users there. I am only hoping that Paypal option comes back again at the microworkers. It is the only solution for people like us.

I think the disable of paypal in microworkers is just for temporary. It is very simple to resolve your problem. Just open an Alertpay account and start using it for online transaction. If you want, you can send me a personal message for my referral link to sign up your alertpay account. This Alertpay account can be used for many other online earning site too because most of the sites do not use paypal. For me, I do have both the paypal and alertpay accounts. I just transferred all of my balance from my paypal account to my local bank account successfully. The processing fee was Zero. About my Alertpay account, I have not done any fund transferring yet. No matter how much balance I do have in my alertpay account, they will charge me a flat rate of $5.00 (RM15.00) per one fund transferring. At the moment, my balance in my alertpay account should be enough to cover this processing fee. However, I shall transfer only when my balance has grown higher so that, the processing fee will only take 5% or lower of the balance I am trying to transfer. I think this should be the same advise to you too. Good luck.

You said it right that Alertpay can be used to withdraw funds from Microworkers , not only Alertpay, but they also have the other option for withdrawal as well. But you may be aware that most of the users online, uses Paypal and they trust it. (I have Paypal and Alertpay both). I hope this problem is temporary. And if it is resolved quickly it will be good for all.

This is really disappointing, what's the reason why they have to disabled the payment method, paypal on their system?

I am also wondering the same after getting to know about that thing. Paypal is a reliable payment processor and everyone trust Paypal. For Alertpay fee is also higher.

What do you mean that they stopped paying? I am surprised now. Where did you get the news from? Who gave out such news? And is it affecting all users or its only indian users who are experiencing such difficulties?

You got me wrong. They have not stopped paying but stopped Paypal Payment. They paying their users with other option like Alertpay now.
