Hello Lotters, Well, how come I am not surprised. This is regarding about the Un-human kind of training that they are being given by their superiors who happens to be local and not so high ranking police officers. Maybe terrorist can give that kind of training, but our own cops?! just imagine getting chili in one of the guys balls and the chili is being fed together with a spicy drink to that poor Cadet?! or being whimp while half naked this is a monster training for cops. No wonder they act like monsters on the field because they are being trained to be one in the field. I believe this has been happening for decades. This should stop, Commission on Human Right reacts in complete disgust of this.. What do you think of this recent exposure? Comment you later

Whats so surprising about it boss? it has been there since the foundation of the agency. This maybe the reason why, indeed, some PNP personnel tend to be abusive when they get into the police force. It is so frustrating that even in the police fence, you are not safe from abuses. Pres. Aquino should take a loot at it very closely to end the abusive practices in the recruitment of new policemen.

Hello Danzy, Well, there should be banning of mobile phones when there's a training like that in my view. if majority of you guys think that it's normal for them to have that training then it shouldn't be shown in the media because most of us may not understand it. I think there's a psychological trauma there even if they did past that training.

LetranKnight25, As horrifying and brutal as it might seem to you, I believe this is part and parcel of what training is all about where one will have to subject oneself to teach about staying resilient and tough to the very end. In the crude sense, one will never know one's threshold of pain until one is being subjected to it. Being in the police, I feel this form of training is needed when part of their job requires them to go undercover which is really very dangerous and the severity when they are being compromised. This is really necessary and I am just surprised that it was only chillies being used here when there should be more extreme ones which tortures the mental states of individuals. I am sorry but this form of training should not stop and should stay implemented.

LetranKnight25, On the note of the video feed, I just have to say that I really do not fancy your country's sense of security which is very lacking. I mean this is an elite police unit training, I wonder how a video camera or camera phone could be permitted in such a sensitive facility. On a much graver note, if this part of the training could be videoed than how much more for the sensitive locations of vital installation and identities of officers and fellow trainees. I hope the authorities here will do something about it or I just cannot imagine what would happen when the Abu Sayaff group get a hold of these videos.

Hello Sky, If that kind of training has been around in years, then how come they didn't use that monster attitude of theirs during the Manila bus hostage that killed chinese tourist? No, this kind of training should stop. Unfortunately, THEY DIDn't PASS THE TESt in my view because they turned cowardly monsters on the field. if you have seen my discussions on cops, they don't hesitate to either abuse or shot civilians who couldn't fight back. there should be another hard training which is more motivating rather than this.

maybe the Police should have deeper and comprehensive psychological exam just like in the military before taking this training. still, I condone it and most specially I condone their video taking of that training.

Hello CHiyosan, Not long before this one, there was this brutal training coming from the Armed Forces of the Philippines. The worst humiliation of this was when they do that horrible stuff and then other cops take pictures of them which is not completely right in our society. well, it's going to be hard because it also happens in other regions similar to this one

This is really horrible. I thought this happens only in some university frats. I just can't imagine how our MATURED high ranking police officers can also do that inhumane kind of training. These police officers involved in this hazing must be FIRED as soon as possible. Calling Pres. Noynoy, lift your hands and do something with this one.

Hello webzap, I guess this is something that Civilians like us would never understand. but taking pictures of them doing this sort of thing is also wrong. probably that would cause them to loose their jobs. . well, if it happens in university frats then there's probably no way that this can be good for them.

Hello Bhaby, You can check in the bandila fan page FB, or probbaly tomorrow to see the whole news. I feel sad that it has happened to those new cadets. maybe this is the reason as to why they become wild and happy trigger in the field, as in no resistance to civilians at all. it's really good that they are to be punishedhave a nice day

i think the hazing in the pnp has been there since the beginning. that is how they teach these pnp to become tough but then they also do the harsh things to civilians which is the disadvantage of this harsh training. i pity them so much especially that they were told to eat and drink something with a lot of ginger on it. i would not want my family or relative to be in a pnp training ground.

Hello katrinapaz, I guess so, this is probably the kind of training that the military had been having for a long time. if the training was at the proper procedure by the book then they shouldn't bring mobile phones there from the start and now it has caused outrage from the public.

yeah, i wondered how someone managed to take a video of them and that someone probably is the one who shared it on to others. i think that every secret can be revealed and now the time has come when their secret is out already.

i was a cadet officer way back in high school. and i also experienced similar training. but the training of the PNP that was exposed is really too much and very un-human. this really have to be stopped and should be investigated thoroughly.

How did you get the information? Was there any explanations why such kind of horrible things practice? When we were in high school we should undergo some training, CAT. There was horrible practices too but later I understood why it was done. Example, All of us eat mixed foods which never been existed in any menu or cooking book. It looks like a porridge texture or pig's food. It's hot and spicy, sweet and sour, bitter and salty. I can't describe the taste. But this happens to show us what horrible might happen on the day of hunger in the middle of battle of nowhere.

I think it is not that bad. It is more worst in the military training . They usually do that in order to know whether or not you wanted to become a police or not. They will test you're determination and survival skills. If the person or cadets complains of cruelty they can file a case against a senior officer.
