A lot of people, investors and institutions alike earn in the stock market. However, some also take losses from it as the stock market is a very risky way to earn money. You need to have discipline and knowledge to be able to earn through stock securities. There are a lot of resources, blogs, articles and books that you can scour to learn how to do stock investing or trading. Also, many seminars are held to teach people ragarding investing in the stock market. I think everybody can be a n investor but you must have a broker to deal with to be able to start stock trading. There are actual brokers and online brokers available too. It really is hard to explain on how things work with the stock market in here. But if you are enthusiastic in trying to learn, you will give the effort to try to look for a mentor or resources to help you get started. I suggest you try to start investing first in some bank products which doesn't necessarily gives you control of the stock fund first. Then try to understand the stock market from there and once you get the hang of it plunge into the stock market yourself. I hope that you will start trading in the stock market in the near future.

"Mutual Funds are subject to market risk. Please read the offer document carefully before investing".
yes that was the thing which i was telling u.thank you u got that for me.
In very simple words as mutual funds invest in equity (stocks and shares) and they don't trade on actual valuation but depend on demand and supply and price fluctuates very fast and that is called as market risk.can u explain this with an example ? so that i can understand what ur telling .

In our country we have bank products like Unit Investment Trust Fund (UITF). This are funds pooled together by the bank and handled by a designated fund manager. The fund manager makes the calls on how to allocate the funds. There are different types of it depending on risk tolerance. They can allocate half of the funds in equities and stocks and half to bonds and other government securities. Other type of this allocates all to stocks. It depends on the suitability. Maybe if you don't have such bank products you can go with mutual funds. The concept is almost the same however banks are not the ones who manages mutual funds but other financial institutions. They also have fund managers who will take care of the decision making and allocations. They are great tools for entering the investment world for beginners compared to the much breath taking stock market yourself.

Yes internet has provided us many opportunities to earn all the while sitting in the comforts of our living room. Before share trading went online most of the trading had to be done through paper share certificates. Now one needs a demat account to trade. It takes only a few minutes to open a demat account and it costs below 500rs.its similar to opening a bank account. You can approach one of the many stock brokers to teach you how to trade online. You can also learn forex trading which is much more profitable although risky.

I only know about the stock part, so I will answer based on that, since I used to work in this industry. The stock market is very complex, but most people can learn the basics. However, you should always invest some time into learning about it properly before even considering doing any actual investments. The most common reason people lose money in the stock market is ignorance and not knowing what you are doing. So a lot of knowledge and information is the key to success when it comes to this, really.
Oh, and also start with real small investments only, until you have enough experience.

YA that would be a great thing if we can discussion on the stock market and trading points.
Yes your right that information or knowledge is required in any field.I know nothing about stocks or shares, just nothing, however a time came for me to start something to earn online being at home.
i started with five thousand .The "person "broker" had showed me how to trade the calls " said some important things about the PDA and about the platform how to use it with shortcut keys etc.,
I thought i understood however still a lot of thigns which are not aware of come across and we have to face all of them.
