2 weeks ago our cat bite me so I head my self to the hospital and received anti rabbies shot. For 4 days I keep on taking anti rabbies shot and a total of 7 shots. Well probably this is the last days of our cat in our house since I decided to put him somewhere that at least he could survive. I have 1 cat and 3 dogs currently and we will dispose our cat probably next month. This cat is around 5 years old and this is the 2nd time he bites us. First is was my mother and now me. I accidentally stepped on his feet while he was asleep then he reacted with a swift bite and scratched my creating four wounds.

why didn't you just get him a rabies shot before after he bit your mom and before he bit anyone else? Honestly, if I were to go through the rabies shots every time I've been bitten, I would have raised red flags about things...

Don't you think you're over reacting? You don't need to get a rabbies shot just because of an accidental cat bite. Unless of course the animal is violent foaming at the mouth or showing signs he has contracted the desise. Cats don't come with rabbies. In fact, unless they contract it somehow... that's the last thing you have to worry about. Instead of going to the hospital, have the cat tested and treated. Should cost you just as much as seven trips to the hospital (pretty sure far less) and then you don't have to worry about it.I wouldn't go as far as "disposing" of the cat. They are animals and should be treated with respect. I honestly feel sorry for that cat.
