What is a good friend?

To tell you the truth I feel sometimes that I don't have good friends to hangout with anymore. Except my friend that lives in New York name Lupe and my friend Liz who leaves across the street from me. Do a friend realy got your back? Sometimes I feel alone and I have no one to talk to. I live in Pittsburgh, PA and I don't have that many friends but I would like to make alot of friends like I did when I was a kid. I want a friend who would understand me, especially when I am down in the dumps. I love my mother, my fiance and my family. I mean I do have some friends but I like to have more than 5 firends. Do you know what I mean? Let's discuss it ok.

Hi nikki1970! Welcome to myLot! I believe that when it comes to friendship, it's not the quantity that counts. It's the quality of friends that you have. Even if you only have 5 friends, as long as they are loyal, honest, and always true to you, you don't have to worry. Maybe you are just bored and longing for another person's company. I can't blame you if you are searching for someone who would understand you, but those type of people rarely come along. So good luck to you and I wish youcould find the person you are searching for. I do not have anyone I can call a good friend. I have many acquaintance worldwide. I interact with people enjoy the time we spend together and then move on with new things. If I happens to meet up with people several times it is nice. I have during my entire life learnt that I am my only dependable friend I have in the midst of any situation.

you are right it is really fun to have many friends, friends that can understand you, friends that will give you advices, and friends that will laugh at your jokes.
try having a party at your house, invite everyone in your street i am sure many neighbors of your will come and try making friends with them, but always choose your friends, never make friends with people who don't care about your feelings or friends that are just making friends with you because they have bad intentions.

It is very hard to find good persons as good friends. Also once we get some good friends we should also know how to keep going the friendship. You can make friends in My Lot too. Wishing you best of luck and hope the friend you finds 'make a difference' in your life.

Ok. Honestly, I think it is really hard to have some true friends. Actually, we all have many friends, but there are few really ture ones. I think it needs time for both to go through the difficulties and happiness to make a true friend.

I suppose a good friend is not easy,there maybe lots of"friends"in our life,but these good friends are those person who know us really well,no matter whether we are keeping in touch now,you could share your sorrow with he/she,and most importantly,you guys have something really in common.Hope this will help.We may have amount of friends,but good ones maybe several are just ok...
