So today when i woke up i went to jog again and felt great sweating. Right after i jog around the village, heavy rain poured and it didn't stop until now. It's really nice to be cuddling in bed if i were not alone but i was and i don't feel lazy today. I felt like i needed to do something.
My husband took my car so i had to commute in a public transport if i want to go out. I have no umbrella since i hardly go out. So what i did was to pray and ask for the rain to stop even just for 5 minutes. It did! And so i went out. I had lunch with my husband at pizza hut. Went to the bank for my personal transactions. Pick up my documents at the LBC!
I've been productive today even though it's raining.

I think you don't need 5 minutes sis, you only need one minute to get to the nearest pizza hut restaurant!!hmmm...you make me feel hungry.. Anyway good you successfully completed your day and next time ask for another 5 minute to buy an umbrella just in case you need it in the future!!!(^^)

You know how far pizza hut is from my house? And it I couldn't have them delivered!

Toni, please buy a new umbrella .............you never know ........when you are going to land in such a sitaution, as was today.
Carrying an umbrella and travelling in a public transport has its own charm.

wow.. congratulations on your tasks accomplished amidst the rain :) i agree with simplyd, if there is rain, most people dont like to go out because we hate to bring umbrellas and also it does not feel good to have a wet feet and walk around. Here in our place, it is very hot and no rain but then we are still thankful.

It's true and yes i got my feet wet. It was a bit awkward for me taking the public transport under the pouring rain because i'm not so used to it. I don't even know how much the fare is i just paid.
But i was thankful that i only had to commute one way. I felt relieved upon arriving at the mall and meeting my husband for lunch. I was late though because of the rain.

our place is in Mindanao. it would take 12 hours for the boat from Visayas to reach us but only an hour for airplane. If Luzon is into heavy rains, we are suffering from drought here these days. So what we do is just be thankful whatever the weather is :)

Yes i did. My body clock changed when i had classes from 7am so when my student was on vacation, i still wake up at about the same time and do my exercises.

Nice to know that you are productive despite the rain, Toni! It takes a lot of determination to go out and do some transactions when it is raining. keep it up!
I personally don't like to go work if it rains. It dampens my spirit and i hate to bring my umbrella and get wet on the feet.

Good thing i only had to commute on the way. I'm really not good in taking public transport as i rarely go out and when i do i usually drive.
And you're right about that wet feet. I was wearing my training shoes but i still got wet because there was a puddle!

wow.. that is nice..normally when it is raining people would just stay at home.. but for me when it is raining i would like to go outside more.. it feels so boring to be at home when it is raining.. one more thing also.. i just love eating ice cream when it rains.. haha

thats an interesting account of your day, and what you managed to do, even though it was raining.
if its any consolation it rained here, in the UK, in the part i am in, most of yesterday too. and i bet a few people didn't do much because of it, either.

I just wanted to keep myself busy so i wouldn't keep on missing my friends who are away. I need to keep my body moving as well too as i don't want to stay stuck in bed or in my chair all day.
And yes it's a great consolation that it rained in UK too.

Wow the power of prayers right? Its a great feeling if you have done many things within a day. Even small things can be fufilling. I had that urge sometimes hopefully today that will come.
