Welcome to mylot, I find it is really a good place to find the answers I want to know. Now I got one question, is it safe to take the airplane? I want to share my opinion here, I don't think it is safe compared with the bus, boat and train. Because I always hear the news that the plane crashed. More important, the chance rate the people survive is very low, isn't it? What do you think? Please share your idea here

I'm afraid of taking the plane. I'm afraid of flying and heights so, unless it's really needed, I won't be riding on a plane pretty soon.

Well, I am definitely not a fan of American airlines. Their planes are actually getting older for which they are losing quality. I am a fan of British airline and I find it secure to buy its ticket. Planes do crash and no one really comes out of it alive. So in general, it is definitely not the safest transport.

Hi, Well, it seems to be very easy until there is any wrong news heard about the planes, but yes they are safe. These have been built by the companies who have lot of experience and will calculate all the obstacles that might come while it is flying in the air. There could be some instances where crashes occur. By looking at this face, we should not come to a conclusion that they are not safe for journeys. Earlier, the technology was not developed to this extent and they have successfully managed to travel in the air with no issues. now, the technology has grown and they are implementing the same in the air crafts and design them in such a way that they can accomplish the tasks without any problems.

They are checked to make sure they are safe. And the chances of dying in a car crash are more likely. But I'm still not going anywhere in something that is a mile in the air and has almost no survivors when it does crash. My wife has been in one several times and wants me to go but I'm not. I'm staying on the ground.
