Can be, if we look back to earth's study also, life first started emerge when the atmospheric conditions favoured to it. The burning glob got wet after millions of years and by the passing of time, things have changed and more time and transitions took place to the first life on earth. Similarly, such transitions could have been happened in other planets also. There are so many things even we people doesn't know and we come to conclusions based on what we know, and also, what we know is even now may be 1% or less, if compared to what we doesn't know. There may be life anywhere else also. As long as we are not aware of it, we can make presumptions and conclusions based on what we know. It is always not necessary to be true also. Still, we humans made remarkable thinking and we reached upto here, there is time more ahead and generations to come to explore it. So, we can wait and see till we live.... may be for another few years, wherein no miracles wont happen. Like this there still are millions of years have to evolve with a burden of population around the world. Thank-s

Hi ravalarun, I am not sure whether you know or not, mars is not the only one place in solar system where there is water apart from earth. Actually, water is one of the most important things for life to exist on any planet or moon. Yesterday, this news was on Yahoo India's home page. Apart from Mars there are a few moons in our solar system where there is a enough water to support any earth like life form. Check this details about the Enceladus (moon of Saturn): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enceladus_(moon) Europa (Moon of Jupiter) also has water in ice form but scientists doubt that there could be an Ocean under the ice layer on that moon. There are so many things which are not told to people and it's for our own good. If I say, our moon is not natural, it's an alien spaceship, would you believe it?

i heard that too on the news. i hope i still alive when human start to move to mars. It's very interesting. In the movie 'the core', scientist said that earth electromagnetic field is the one that protect earth from sun's radiation. I hope mars have it too so someday we can move to mars.

I don't really know if there is water on Mars or any other planet besides earth. But the Bible says that God created everything. If there is water on Mars, then God had a purpose and a design for creating it that way. Whatever life forms may or may not be on any other planet, God created man on this earth and sent Jesus Christ, His Son to live on this earth and die on the Cross for our our sins. If God had chosen to do so, He could even have created life forms that could live without oxygen and/or water. After all, he created everything out of nothing.
