On my recent discussion, my target seems to be focusing on Bank of America, and I severely criticized it to the extreme. It wasn't personal, and it wasn't about my anger toward it. I never had an account with BOA, but I just want to notify people whoever bank with it, should take precautions on every step to protect themselves. Now, this time, Bank of America was technically breached by a criminal ring who hack into their data. They stole 90 some customers information, such as date of birth, account number, PIN, mother's maiden name etc..... And such data compromise is facilitated by insider. Won't that scare you at all? Nowadays, those big bank would try to push you, as a customer to do all business with them. They will encourage you to deposit all your money in their banks. But do not do it. If you put all the egg in one basket, the criminal crack the code, you will have nothing left. So, be smart, and make a wise decision to diversify your money in several institutions. Although BOA offer 2 years free credit monitoring service to customers, it just won't help that much.
