I only have about a year left and I will have my associates. I am so excited and happy. I plan on going to the beach when I graduate as a gift to myself and a vacation. I'm super excited because I haven't been to the beach in a really long time and I need a vacation. Plus giving myself a year will allow myself and my family to save up for the beach. I don't know whether or not to get a job and go to to school part time for a bachelor's afterwards or just focus on getting a bachelors and go full time. Although my financial aid doesn't always cover full time. So it might be worth it to go to work although I also don't want my financial aid to cover even less since I will be working. Right now I am just focusing on getting my associates and taking it one step at a time.

I am proud of you. I am working towards my Masters degree and will have it in April. Depending on the job market I might go for a second Masters Degree or I am hoping to find a teaching job. With a tough job market it might be a good idea to get your Bachelor's Degree. I know my husband is working towards his Bachelor's Degree and will have his in 2013.

I am definitely planning on getting a Bachelors and eventually getting a Masters. I am undecided whether I should go get a job after my associates. I know a lot of college students do so I think I should. I think it will help me out and help my family out. Although I am scared that they will give me even less financial aid though. I am also scared because that is a lot to take on.

That is all we can do. Sometimes goals can be overwelming if we look at the big picture. Narrowing them down and taking one step at a time is a certain way to help achieve a larger goal.

Thank you and yes I agree. I don't feel as stressed out if I look and take one step at time rather than trying to get it all done and stressing about getting everything done.

I have mine, and it is a great feeling when you get it. Also, a few more doors open up. Of course, now I am one year away from having my Bachelor's, and I can't wait to have that degree.

Congratulations! Education is always a good investment. I advice you to continue into bachelor's degree, you can work and study at the same time, I did too. It wasn't easy, but if you love what you do and put everything on a particular goal then definitely you will succeed on that. I finished college and started working, then I got married. And now I am planning to have my master's degree. My University offered me to enter its long distance masteral program and I accepted it. I missed college and I know I am on the right path. I am lucky I have a wondrful husband who supports me all the way. Good luck to you. After your graduation, you can go out for a vacation... then you can look for a part time job... but then I hope you will really go for a Bachelor degree.

Thank you. I am definitely planning on getting a Bachelors, and eventually a Masters. I just don't want to be out of work for a very long time so I might have to work and go to school at the same time but a lot of people do it so I am sure I can.

I don't want to be telling someone what to do with their life but I would go for bachelors if I was capable. The higher your educational background you have the higher chance you would have of being successful. Higher education is not easy to obtain so I think a bachelors degree would potentially help you more than an associates. Aside from stating the obvious, the decision is entirely up to you. If you need money, I would suggest going to school part time. That way you are not overly stressed with papers and projects because not only do you have to attend classes, you also have to follow up with the work. A year goes by quick so work hard and good luck!

Oh I know it will be hard work but it is worth it to me. I agree with you and I plan on furthering my education. I am just a little afraid of working and going to college at the same time. Hopefully I can do both part time or something like that. We will see what happens. I am so happy to be graduating. Oh and yes you are right a year does go by quick.
