Missing People

As I was checking some updates from my friends in FB, I found out that one of our batch mate from high school together with three other friends are missing for almost 2 months now. The news really bother me that I was not able to sleep good that time. I'm kinda shocked about it coz I actually watched that news on tv but just didn't realize that one of the guys is actually someone that I know.
According to the news, the group is dealing 2 motorcycles that night when they lost. Some people assume that the guys have been killed and buried somewhere, but their family, they are still hoping that their loved one will comeback anytime soon.
Although I am not really that close to those people, the incident still breaks my heart especially when I read that his kids is already looking for him, his mom and wife always crying waiting for him. They hope for him to comeback alive but if its true that he's already dead, they wish to have his body back to at least give him a decent burial.
All of us in our batch together with his other friends sympathize and praying with his family and like them, hoping for good things to happen.
I can't imagine the difficulty that his family is feeling right now, waiting for someone that they don't even know if still alive or what. Although the chances of finding them alive is very little, they can't do anything but to hope for some miracles to happen...
How about you, do you know someone who has been mysteriously missing for a long time, that their family don't even know where they are, whether they are still alive or what and what happened to them?

I'm good, just that I got busy with other stuffs offline. Happy Friendship Day to you too and I'm happy to hear that you are also doing well. 
I also miss lots of people but with the case of a friend in my post, its kinda difficult to deal with coz they have been missing for so long now and we don't have any idea where they are...we don't even know if they are still alive or what...

thanks for the response, what stuff yu are doing offline,how much you are earning, i could not earn more in online,my earning could not cross twenty dollars per month,when i reach my target of two hundred dollars per month,is it possible to me,to earn that much amount,have a nice day

well, i'm not doing any work for earning online, i am just at home doing a housewife stuffs! lol!
before, i use to work for a friend, i was able to earn about $150/per month just by helping him with his link building jobs on line, but i already stopped working for him.
i guess it will be possible for you too to earn as much as $200/month, if you have skills like my friend, coz he was able to earn even a thousand i guess...

my wife's cousin was among the crew members of the ship that drowned two or three years ago by typhoon frank. as of this moment, we have not heard about him and his family already accepted that he is already gone.
my brother passed the bar two years ago. his administration of oath was postponed due to the case filed by his wife. he was about to take oath last year. but since november of 2010, we have not heard about him.
we hope and pray that together with your friend, my brother and my wife's cousin will come out safe.

yes, it was from Sulpicio Lines but i cannot remember the name of the ship.
with regards to my brother, we really have no idea where he is or where he was. we only know he has another girl, he's separated from his wife.

which ship was that? is that the one from Sulpicio Lines? I think many people from Cebu are among the victims...
what happened to your brother is kinda mysterious, and no one from your family have an idea where he goes?
sometimes acceptance that they already gone is the only thing we can do to move on with our own life...i also hope and pray for their safety wherever they are and I hope that your brother will be back soon, i think its more difficult for you since he's part of your family.

Welcome back! Long time no see. It is really distressing to hear this kind of news when someone known to us is found missing. Hope all would be safe. This kind of incident has not happenend with me.

It is heartening to hear that now you are able to 'steal' internet connection on permanent basis and now you will be regular here.

Yeah, been missing for quite sometime coz I was not able to "steal" some Internet connection! lol! Anyway, all is good now with the connection so maybe I will be more active again...hopefully.
Yeah, this kind of incident is really sad to hear and just bring a very different feeling, so uncomfortable, we are all hoping for a good news from them...no matter how little the chances.

Haha...well, another news is that I am no longer stealing from our neighbor...instead my husband just bought me a usb for a prepaid internet, temporarily we will be just using that while we are not yet transferred in our would be permanent house...
Glad to hear that friends miss me here...and I miss all of you too!

Yeah, this is why i'm always checking the obituary section of our local papers, to see if there's anybody i know of. IN some cases, friends might have moved, change their contact numbers etc, so it's important to keep track of them via that way. So far, i've not seen nor received any bad news yet. WHo knows i might be the first to send them the bad news? haha
All i can say is, dun be too sad, it's only a matter of time that they have to leave ^^

YEah, we will feel sad because we are humans, we have feelings. BUt sad only for the moment, unless i'm very close to them. iF not, my sadness only last from the moment i step in there till i leave.. hehe

Well, I guess its just natural for us who knows him to feel sad. I know that it's only a matter of time that they have to leave this world and we all have different ways on how we are going to leave, but it's still sad that they have to leave that way... how I wish they can be found sooner...for their family to have peace of mind.
Really? well I am not someone who reads the obituary section of a news paper, actually I don't even give attention to it...hehe

that is very unfortunate for the family and loved ones of your friends. although we should always expect the best, they should prepare for the worst. my prayers are with them.
words are not enough to describe the grief and anguish that these people are feeling and i would not want to be in the situation. it must be really nerve-wracking.

I never come across such a scenrio described by you, someone i know mysteriously disappear into thin air, then resurface in the Facebook after a long time. I assume you must be in for quite a shock after rediscover your long lost missing friend in FB, it is actually not a common opccurance to most people, we usually keep in touch all the time with firend and family members. I just hope i don't have to go through what you have gone through seeing my long lost friend mysteriously reappear again in my social networking site.

Well, if I have to see him back again FB, then I will be happy coz that will prove that he's still alive after being lost for quite sometime.
Their situation now is really difficult coz the guys have been missing for more or less 2 months now and their family and friends don't have any idea where they are, some suspects that they might have been in trouble with those people whom they are dealing that night that they lost...

For me no but it is not good so be always prayed for them so that they can resist the way they are now and try to your self prayed to Jehovah God it is true healed you.

What a tragic kind of topic you got there,ck!
I was shocked by reading the contents of it. Have you heard news about them after 10 months? Have they found the missing people?
It's so sad to hear such news and to think you have someone you knew who was also in the incident,still missing... If ever I witness such tragic moments or even see the news itself and even if I don't know people in there, It would still be a shocking news for me and I would feel really sad for those who are in danger.
I hope there's updates on this matter...

So sad that till now, they are still missing!
Your response reminds me of them and so I visited their FB account and from there I found out that they haven't been found yet. Again, readings some posts there gives me a sad feeling and I just feel something like pinching in my heart and wanna cry a little... specially the message of his brother to him...gonna share to you the page in FB...
