Praise and Worship

I cannot understand the joy and delight I feel whenever we do Praise and Worship. There is that overwhelming feeling that sometimes I cannot contain especially when the words sink in inside of me, like speaking to me. The feeling of losing yourself not only in the melody but in the words. The melody does help an setting your body rhythm, but when the words gets into you it cuts like a knife and expose you bare. At times it strips you naked before God. Feeling of being stripped naked to the core that you know you cannot hide anywhere. Sometimes it’s a letting out of heartaches. A crying out to God with all of your being and connecting in His loving arms.

I can totally relate with you in this. I feel so much joy whenever i do praise and worship, specially in the confines of our bedroom in my solitude. Makes me feel so close and loved by God, that it always would bring tears of happiness in my eyes.

Wow, that must have felt really good. I miss being so religious and feeling the bliss of God's love! I haven't been in touch with Him recently. I even failed to attend the Sunday mass this past weekend! I mean, I was going to attend. Me and my girlfriend planned to. But when we came to the chapel, it was closed, as no parish priest was available that time. I'm really sad now, and I really want to be able to talk to Him again. With all these thoughts, problems, and health concerns bugging me now, I think I really need him.

That's what it does. its an unspeakable joy. Because as we draw close to God in praise and worship we begin to feel His heart and what He is feeling (He is the prince of peace and the fullness of joy). there is just great joy in worshiping God, its really unexplainable. Supernatural is really unexplainable.

I actually feel the same way. There are times that I'm just singing inside my head during praise and worship but I can feel tears running down my eyes. It is like you are open and naked. God can sees everything about you. I like the feeling after all I surrender my worries to Him. I feel confident and excited to face the new day.

I can identify with what you are feeling. Praise and Worship makes our soul cry to God in adoration. It makes us ask for forgiveness and cleansing. It drives me to tears sometimes of sorrow when I have done something wrong and most often happiness for being able to come into God's presence in abandonment and with the spirit of a child. It also reminds me of who I am in the eyes of God..Somebody special and chosen.

I love praising the Lord, God is my refuge, my best friend who guide, who never leave me a lone, I love the because he always hear my voice and my suplication, and invite us to praise him, so praise the with your voice, your dance,with instruments, with our behavior, I love you Lord, thanks my Lord!
