I really like sid in the Ice age movie, But i jus wonder what kind of animal is he?

Sid is a SLOTH. They are very kind in movie except in ice age 2 where he finds more of his kind. And they attempt to kill sid as fire king.

Fire King.. oh, that part was so funny. Fire king for the little colored sloths was the one that would save them.. from the ice melting or something.. Kind of like in POTC, their god that would save them...

Yes I agree with what is mentioned above. I think Sid is a sloth. He's my favorite character in Ice Age. I love this movie, one of the best animated movies.

Sid is a sloth, he actually told it himself which is why i looked up what a sloth looks like and found out they looked different. I forgot that they were supposed to be extinct or something..
