How to gain weight?

Most of the time people discusses and talks about how to loss weight but there are fewer people who talks about gaining weight. For some thin and skinny people it is important for them learn how to gain weight. Lets share our experiences and knowledges on how to gain weight. We must eat lots of processed foods. These foods have high fat, high sugar. Some great testing examples include candy bars, cookies and potato chips. At the same time we are eating processed food, we must make sure we eat lots of fatty foods as well, such as hamburgers and fried chicken. We should not exercise. Exercise will increase our muscles, which in turn increase our metabolism, and will eventually lead to loss of weight and fat. Any more tips?

The best way to gain weight is to eat a lot meat - at least 600grams/per day and going to fitness. This way you will be healthy and strong. Cheers

Thanks for the response. Yes eating meet seems to be one way to gain weight. But which meat we must preferably eat?

Well for me personally beef steak with sauce works the best , but every person is different . I have a friend who eats only chicken and he can lift 140kilos(308pounds). Other great and much more cheap way to gain weight are mass gainer products, for me best brands for fitness products are PEAK and Universal. Cheers

I had this friend who was very thin. No matter what he eats and how much he eats he still doesn't gain weight. Now, he really gained weight. I asked him how he did it, he said he took vitamins everyday. I dont really know the explanation behind that but many people i know said it works..

I dont know the brand, but I think it was a multivitamin. Maybe any multivitamins will do, they contain the same vitamins.

It seems the same with me. I was thin, I am thin and I think I am gonna be thin forever no matter what I eat or drink. And that is surprising? So which vitamins did he take?

yes how to gain weight which is according to height.Eating junk food can cause ill health.What is healthy food which can do good for weight increase.

Healthy foods which can help increase weights are the one having high calories like grain breads, vegetables such as potatoes, kidney beans, lean red meat, poultry, fishes etc..

Healthy food is not the only thing which is necessary ,healthy thinking and healthy living are also needed.Food can only make and give strength but healthy living can bring chang e in any person,everything healthy and clean is required for everyone.It can be vegetarians or non veges.Or even those who do fast in the name of god.The strength comes .

i DO! since i was a kid i have always been underweight. until now that i am 23. i always struggle to find size 4 in shopping malls. grrrrrr!!!!! i wish i know how to gain weight because even if i take vitamins and eat lots, sleep much,etc. nothing seem to affect me.

Even I am 23 now and I am expecting to become fat when I am employed. As of now there are lots for things to worry about. I have to be under tension now and then and also not getting that freedom to eat what ever i like.

I think being fat or thin does not make any differences in your life. But how you take decision, spend life that is more important than other. One reason why you are not gaining weight might be, you get tensed very quickly. Another reason may be you walk very fast. Control these issues and you will gain weight. And do not always think you are thin! That is also important.

It does not matter a lot but it do give us little bit of uncomfortable feeling. We must also be concerned little bit about our looks and figure as unmarried boy. So... lol. Yea I find myself tensed and I walk very fast too. My friends use to shout at me when we go to town just for fun. Thanks.

exercise didn't always make people lose weight,sometimes gain weight,however. when in high school one of my classmates was a player and took exercise every day and did seem very thin. several years later we met again and he gained so weight that look fat. i asked the reason and he told me that he gained weight after giving up the sport and stopping exercise.

I too have a friend who use to be a good sport person. He was very thin in the school. Last summer break I met him and I saw him very huge. I asked him what made him fat and he told me that after getting employed he became fat. Possibly leaving the sport could be the reason for him too as now he is not playing as he use to do in the shcool.

Gaining and losing weight are both hard to achieve, and once achieved, it needs discipline and focus in order for you to maintain it. But I think more are obsessed on losing weight rather than gaining it. I have a friend who was thin, she's a girl and she really wanted to gain weight. I think she consulted with a Chinese Doctor and was given an herbal food supplement on boosting appetite while making your metabolism adapt with it. The supplement was very good as I've seen the results on here. She became more beautiful when she gained weight. But when she stopped it, she loses weight again, now she's thin. A friend of mine also tried to eat foods high in fat, carbo and protein, he gained weight, but wasn't able to maintain it. This is just the same to people who are fat, who took diet plans, lose weight, and then stop dieting and then gain weight. So a lot of ways may work, but if we will not live with it, maintain it, and be religious about it, we'll lose it, just like that.

eat five times a day and sleep more than 8hrs everyday. make your snack foods and chips, chocolates, cakes and ice cream as your best friends.

I have a friend who loves to eat a lot but did not gain weight at all. He really wants to gain weight and he did everything for so many years. Until he decided to go to the gym and ask his instructor to make him a program for weight gain. True enough after less than a year he gain muscles and gain weight. Most of the people I know, have gone to the gym and have their program of exercises made for weight gaining and they did gain weight and still healthy.

I would say don't exercise of any type, only eat one fruit and one vegie a day, eat a lot of red meat, and be lazy, that's the best response I could come up with.

Yea that really seems to be a good tips. I shall try them out. What kind of water or juice should I go for to quench my thirst so that i can gain weight too. Some suggested me to go for drinks with lots of sugar such as regular soda and fruit juice. Fruit juice sounds healthy but it is really not due to the higher sugar. Even milk is good because the lactose in milk is a sugar too. Milk sometimes has a lot of fat too. What do you suggest?
