How to start my writing career ?

On these days my intention of writing a story/novel is getting stronger. But i didn't know from where to start and how to start.I need help. I am thinking of writing a story/novel book in English.I have problems and doubts in the areas of publishing , copyright, getting a publisher etc. I want to get answers on Indian context. How to publish a book manually to the market. Who should i meet to achieve this ? How can i maintain a copy right for my story? How to get copyright for my story in Indian context? How to get a legal publisher in India ? If i publish my content online , can any body copy it for his own purpose ? How can i prevent any body from copying my content of story/novel? I want clarifications on all these areas. I anybody here is a author,please give your experience on your first publishing of your firs book . I am totally disappointed on this matter. So help me please..

I see here is only one answer so due to this I think I can express my novice opinion about this topic. First of all you should write it by hand because that can help you prove you are the owner - so it helps with copyright. For example if anyone copy your work and pretend to be his you can sue him and as an evidence you can bring the original book written by hand.
After that try to promote it only by copy it into a pdf format; pdf formats are good because it can't be modified by anybody without leaving any trace. A pdf format is the easiest way to share your work on the internet and it's also secure.
