do you Still remember with Gabriel Batistuta? Long time no heard from, former striker nicknamed Batigol reportedly in trouble with health until it is difficult to walk. Really? is it true? Since leaving the Serie A in 2003 to join Qatari club Al Arabi, Batistuta's name was almost drowned by the frenzied actions of the other young stars of football. Perhaps also there is not much ngeh when former Fiorentina player in the cult was finally officially end his playing career while working in Qatar in 2005. Post-retirement, figure Batistuta increasingly infrequent. Moreover, a former retainer of the Argentine national team was also no longer a lot of activity in the world who made his name: football. Batistuta instead turned to sport polo in 2009. Later, word got out even if Batistuta, who is now 42 years old, have health problems. Due to knee problems, he is said to difficulty walking. However, this time directly react Batistuta. Do not want people worried about his condition, he revealed that he is still fit enough to even exercise, although not a football. "I know what people in Italy are talking about me , but I'm fine. Many people are worried about my health, but I'm fine. The people I had met in Florence a month ago can justify it," he told "I can walk without problems and even play golf with the Italian coach Cesare Prandelli. My knee is never a problem, though I have trouble with the ankle. I no longer play football, but I walked, ran and enjoyed playing polo and golf," says Batistuta . Batistuta started a professional football career with Newell's Old Boys in 1988. His name began to rise when defending Fiorentina during the period 1991-2000. Here, too, he became the idol of the local fans and nicknamed Batigol due to his skill to break the opponent's goal. Never won such a prestigious Serie A or Champions League, Fiorentina Batistuta then leave and move to AS Roma. In his first season with Roma, Batistuta immediately won the Scudetto. As getting older, Batistuta's career slowly faded. Rome had loaned to Inter Milan in 2003, he finally left Italy in the same year. As roma fans, i do hope you are still OK, batistuta..nice to hear that you are still fine.. what is your opinions about one of Argentina legend??

I was pretty young when Batistuta played football, but I remember him as one of the finest strikers at that time. I remember being a little kid and that many friends of mine, who were a few years older than me having Batistuta or Ronaldo as favorite strikers, or Klinsmann. So this means that Batistuta was a great striker and he was very popular among youngsters at his time. I remember his name, Gabriel Omar Batistuta, his long hair, and his beard, along with a huge smile. I also hope that he is fine and he is enjoying his life after a great career.
