I agree with others on here and you should either teach others to do what you do to pass the time or open some kind of shop even if its in your own home and make some money with your talents! =) Good Luck and I hope you stop feeling so bored soon.

Well, I'm not sure what kind of disability you have. My client is disabled, but she draws, writes, reads, does crossword type puzzles, etc. I'm glad I'm not too disabled to have a little job - don't know if I could work full time again tho... I just WISH I had a little time to be bored, but I get on the computer and never even have too much time to craft - that's what's with the shed remodel, to get me away from the computer!

I guess the best recourse will be something online. I recently launched a webstore, so maybe you can do the same. I know that there are a lot of competition out there, so the trick is to find your own unique niche. Luckily I found mine, maybe you could too! Goodluck!

Try getting really good at chess! Then you can join competitions and win prize money. =) You could also teach yourself programming if you have much time - then you can always work from home! Hope that helps! =)

Have you thought about offering to teach others to do your crafts? Reaching out to others can make us feel much better about our own situations. Perhaps there are young people who would like to learn how to bead, or there may be other things you can teach.

I think that you might like to go to your local library and borrow some books to read. Maybe you could buy a scrap book and make a special book out of it. It could have a title like Animals I like , Vacations I would love to go on or My Hobbies. If you have a wheelchair you might like to get out and about. I know some disabled people help out children that have special needs. Good luck finding meaningful and interesting things to do.

lilbaby has some great ideas. I was also thinking, do you have someone who can help you set up booths to have a sale at festivals and open house some place have during the holiday season? If you know a trustworthy, hardworking young person, it wouldn't cost you much for them to help and you can get out and be with other people.. When I first started out, I helped a friend and she paid me a little on the side for my help, and it got me out of the house..Those were good times for her and me..:)

when i was in the Philippines i had a tour in a place where the people with disabilities are offered with jobs. they are trained to do things like sewing, repairs, massage, etc to help them build confidence and late on business. i hope you can find something like this.

hi:) oh how I wish I can help you, but maybe you could do some beadworks and some crafts and ask someone to sell it in their neighborhood or on their school, how I wish someone of your relatives and friends could help you. goodluck.

I know many people who make jewelry by going on youtube for examples of how to do certain things. Crocheting takes time and intricate skill so you can charge a bit more for it, so if you know how to do this it may be beneficial. Maybe you can build a clientele from church friends etc.The other things you say your doing are great. I mean there are alot ofpeople loving beads and a loving a good seamstress.

If you're bored hanging around in your house all day, how about volunteering! Volunteering lets you do what you really enjoy and you can share it with several other people. You could volunteer to support a charity by sewing something, such as clothes for those who are homeless or need charity support. You could place those hobbies of yours to very good use and you can have fun at the same time. Make your day different to any day!

First, you have to leave the feeling of disable. As you have internet facility you can spend your time on it to learn and earn something from it. Best of luck.

It wouldn't hurt to open an etsy shop and to try to sell handmade items on eBay, but there is a lot of competition as many people are doing the same thing. I am currently writing articles, if you are good at writing and using good grammar, it helps a little.
