How will you respond if a guy that you like tells you that he likes you?

A crush of mine told me that last night (he texted, "I like you! Sorry") and I didn't know how to respond to him. I like him too but I didn't wanna appear cheap. I mean I didn't wanna appear like I wanted to pursue him 'coz guys should be the one pursuing girls, right? So, how would you respond if you were caught in that situation? BTW, that person is my boss and before saying that he liked me, he said, "Let's pretend we don't work with each other. Would you date me?" And I was like, "Was that a trick question?" and then he responded back with "I like you! Sorry."

I would respond back and honestly tell him. He told you that he liked you first, so in a way he is pursuing you. I have a crush on my boss too. I think he likes me, but he has not said anything yet and I am not telling him I like him.

Take the chance to go on a date with him. If you want to continue to grow a relationship, you can be working mates at work acting like you're just any other co-workers. After work you have your private life, when you can do what you like.
