oh my! this is really not a nice topic to discuss for me. i hated this wart (on my left palm) for three months already. it is so annoying how i got it last June and I tried to treat it with the freezing stuff i bought in the pharmacy. i completely followed the instructions and was consistent about it but still the wart kept growing. after about 3 weeks i got bored of such medicine so i bought a different product very much recommended by the pharmacist but still didnt work although i used it for about a month or so. lucky that i got an appointment with NHS centre and I will have my wart frozen next week. finally i will get rid of this WART!

Hi hushi! Yes, there are many types of wart removal, but if its getting bigger, i think it needs to be cauterized. Its important to remove it because it is contagious and although it is a low risk type viral infection, its just not nice to see. And one more thing, the HIV virus and the HPV which is the wart came from one family! eww...

Hi hushi...hummm so there is an impact in the ewww part ha. Just try to imagine, the low risk but contagious wart and the virus of HIV is within 1 family...How do you react to that? Isn't that a big ewwww???

Freeze it!! It's free aswell under the NHS... or should be, british BA permitting. =) I heard alot of good stories about licking it at full moon and burying a parsnip in your back yard until it is gone - just placebo cures. But best of all is to freeze it professionally. =) You made the right decision! But you should still totally try the Duck tape trick before the appointment! Tell us if it worked!
