Love is always unexpected, you'll never know when cupid's arrow will hit you. This is a good thing especially for people who wants to fall in love but what if the person that you love is already committed - not only that, he/she is committed to one of your good friends. How far would you go to let that person know that you love him/her? Woud you betray a good friend because of your feelings?

i am in the fortunate position of never having fancied a friends partner. and i would like to think that even if i did i wouldn't give in to the impulse. in life we have to be able to trust people otherwise where does that leave us, as a society, and this is a taboo in society, that sometimes people break, but most accept, and it exists for a good reason. after all, if we can't trust our friends then who can we trust. and trust is important.

Hi francesca, We sure are fortunate that we have never fallen for a friend's partner. Life is so much easier when we haven't done that particular thing, isn't it??

Indeed i am. though i have had a few occasions when another woman i know, when i was talking to her husband, has looked at me in a way to suggest she found it threatening. which i didn't much like, as i was only having a conversation. and it is that experience that has influenced my view, as i don't like being seen as a threat by other women, when i'm not.

It really is hard to find a good friend. Love might just be around the corner but true friends are like needles in a haystack.

I could never imagine dating someone who my friends are dating or trying to date them. Boyfriends come and go, but finding that good solid friendship is hard to find. I wouldn't do anything that would mess that up.

Only if I wanted to lose a friend. Men come and men go but girlfriends are forever! I've never met anyone that I would risk destroying a friendship over.

That's really true, I'd rather be single with a friend that's always by my side.

Hi goggles, I have never done it yet and I don't think I will do it if I ever have feelings for a girl who is involved with one of my friends. But, then again I have never felt anything for any of the girls my friends have dated. So, it is hard to say when you don't know how will it be, when you have not experienced it.
