Napoleon Hill wrote Think and Grow Rich nearly a century ago.
In this book, Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill listed out the 6 steps to success, in term of monetary success.
That was the accumulative results, using 25 years, of interviewing the richest people alive in his life time.
The 6 steps to success are:
1. Set a definite amount of money you want
2. Determine what you intend to give to earn the money
3. Fix a date whereby you want the money
4. Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once.
5. Write it out
6, Read your plan at least twice a day.
Do you agree with the six steps of success?
If you have read Think and Grow Rich, and have put the principle in use, how has your life improved?

Well this looks like a well set out plan. I'm gonna have to agree with this one. I really don't know any fool-proof plan on setting out and achieving your goals. As long as it works out for me, I'm gonna follow that plan.

Hi Frontvisions, you can search online for information about Napoleon Hill.
He had written many outstanding books in his lifetime, and had served in consultancy for a few US Presidents.
I like the concept that we need to provide a service for others in return for riches.
I think the world has become more selfish, expecting to get more money without putting in an ounce of hard work.

Well, if you read it again, his plan is really about basic planning. He only added the final steps to remind you of your plan before you start your day and before you end it, which is obviously important since you wanna achieve a goal on a specific date.

Hi Frontvisions, I think his book about basic planning was way before the business textbooks enlarged on the scope.
After all, for a book written in the midst of the Great Depression, it was really a good reminder to people that planning was still needed, even if they had very tight budget for everything.

I feel its well thought after plan. One needs to adhere to it sincerely,if one is to succeed.I haven't read the book you are mentioning or put the principles you've mentioned into practice. But a cursory glance tells me they are sound and all youngsters aspiring for monetary or other forms of success should sincerely put them into practice.

Hi Picjim, you can search online for the book and download it.
This book was written nearly a hundred years ago, and is now in public domain.
In fact, this book, Think and Grow Rich, has created more millionaires and billionaires than any other books in history.
I think the author is right in saying that we need to provide something useful for others in order to earn our share of wealth.
if we do not want to work, and still want to get rich, that is impossible, and plainly very selfish.
