I am starting school on Monday. Since I am attending a two year college my major right now is LPN. When I becoma and LPN then I will move on to become a RN then after that I want to go on to become a BSN. I am not too sure still though, because I am still interested in forensic pathology. I was kind of interested in becoming a doctor but I don't want to have someone's life in my hands and they die because of something I did. I uess when I start going school I will make my mind up. How did you know what you wanted to study?

It is really tough going to college and choosing course that best suits you and the skill you have that will complement your passion. I have chosen something about nutrition and dietetics as my first degree, and since I dis not take my studies too seriously then, I did not enjoy what i took up. I graduated yes, but since I was not too confident about it I did not take my licensure examination yet. And took another course for my second degree. I'm just lucky enough that my parents still let me pursue my studies in another path. I took up nursing as my second degree and I enjoyed it. I did not excel that much but I'm sure that my skills and passion will be coincides best with me being a nurse may it be in the hospital, any institution or in the community. So don't worry, your calling it will definitely come to you, you just have to listen to it.

Hi AishaBR! Good luck with your school! Hope everything goes fine with you in the upcoming days! I agree with the first responder. You should follow what your hearts says so in the end you won't regret what you've done! :) Like me, I regret following my parents wants than following my heart wants! I will be switching to Creative Writing next semester since I am taking up Information Technology this semester! See? You should really follow your heart, or anything that makes you happy and interests you!

Sorry, MY school years are already over, and I am focusing on my job. The job I am having now is not my desirable, both of them, one full time and one part time. I just have to make a living instead of sitting home idle and useless. I still want to pursue my dream, and hopefully I can contribute something to my life at least.

I think you have to listen to your heart and mind what's right for you. There are things you love to do, as there are things you dislike. That makes the choice for you to base your choice of education. I've chosen courses which make me enjoy my study. I'll apply for a education when I've got all required grades. I love to create things that makes construction work right for me. I love to draw and invent new things. I'm an artist in character.
