Which hair straightener is the best to get?

I really need to get a new hair straightener but I have no idea which one to get. I don't like Chi's, they don't work well on my hair. Right now I have a Babyliss but it smells like burnt hair when it's on and I hate it.
I have a lot of hair and it's wavy when I let it dry naturally. Usually it takes a lot of heat for my hair to get straight. I'm not sure which one to get though. Which one works the best and what would you recommend?

I don't really need hair straighteners but there are days where my hair goes all over. I have a mini hair iron and the brand id elysee. It is really great and works perfect and never had my hair burnt. I think it's a really good product and you could give it a try.
I actually have this hair curler and it works real well as a hair straightener too

I can't answer your question but I'm glad you asked! I need a new one too. I can't find mine so I can't even say what kind it is. I know its here somewhere but I've been looking for a month and I'm tired of doing without so I am going to buy a new one. The one I would really love to have is the one that has just a little steam. It has a spiky brush type thing with a bar that allows you to kinda scroll straight down. Kinda hard to explain, but that one is real expensive, maybe for professionals. So anyway I hope you get lots of response here so we can pick a good one!
