Is it bad habit? to reply from the toilet

My dear mylotter friends and all my dear virtual family members I know you will laugh on me after reading this discussion but really this is true and my real experience but I am also laughing when I writing this discussion.
I observed most of the people has habit to replied from the toilet like my husband have same habit whenever somebody has came to meeting for him and my Mother in law tell him (she not know where is he? or he is in toilet) somebody is calling you then my husband replied from the toilet ohh I am coming and tell him for seating. If I am present there then I laughed and tell ohh first you should came out from toilet and then talk something.
Friends I have no such habit. Share your views is it your habit also or what you think not problem reply from toilet or this is bad habit.

Surekha: When we look at it from one side this may appear a bad habit. But when u look at it from another angle namely he is showing more interest in others and is responding well. That shows interest he is showing in business and other dealings.

But uncle business men can wait untill we came out from toilet and we go in toilet only for short time so why people not silence even for some minutes. If phone is coming then you can call came back after seeing miss call why people carry the phone in toilet. Yes this is bad habit but different people different habit we cannat change their habit. Thanks to share your view.

Yes true sometimes this shows their interest towards business. Though it is bad habit, but otherway he takes it as his responisbility to respond immediately.

Hi sis!
Better talk and reply after we are done..That is my suggestion. Unless if one have a huge bathroom like a huge bedroom then they can talk in there whenever they want.(^^) For normal people like us who just have small bathroom/toilet just hold the calls/message and reply to them later. I have no such habit as I don't think I need to do so. I am not the so called VIP person need to take important calls every time. I can't even imagine if the gadget falls. Anyway one can do anything they like since its their home.(^^)

Nice response friend really we are not VIP person and people can wait at least 5 to 10 minutes for us. Toilet is such a place where we can seat without any kind of disturbance.

I don´t like to establish a conversation from the toilet and I even try to stop people yelling from one room to the other. But sometimes it cannot be helped. Like when the phone is ringing, you are in the toilet and someone says it´s for you. You have to reply they leave their name, you´ll call back.

Ohh friend it means your thought is same like me thanks for sharing your view. Yes I also see this type of conversation and I cant understand why people replied they can call back after seeing miss call and we are seat for toilet only for short period.

My brother use to have this habit and we use to tease him. I would feel its discomfort and not a good habit. And it is allowable at most emergency or necessary cases to reply from toilet, else not a good.

Ahaha! My sweet friend! No I have never responded from the toilet. In fact I use to have a friend that every time I would call her and she would call me always was using the toilet. I always would say to her "Look call me back when you are done"!
I don't like hearing that someone is on the toilet while speaking to me and or flushing the toilet while we speak.
Unless it is an absolutely emergency I personally think it is best to be done in the toilet before someone answers.

My friend try and not worry, you do the best you have always done here. I don't understand why this would be deleted as I don't believe it breaks the guidelines. Anytime you ask like what you like best or what is your favorite then that is considered a poll and or survey.

Toilet is a private place and no one can disturb you there but since i don't have such habit nor any experience so i can't say it is right or wrong to reply from toilet even in emergency.But in my opinion people can wait for at least five minutes because busy people don't take halt in toilet for long time whatever your discussion is very good and funny.

So far, we don't have this kind of weird attitude. I prefer not to bring my mobile phone with me when doing my other business in the toilet. Even my hubby don't love to bring his mobile into toilet either, too. I ever have an ex-colleague who loves to chat in the toilet while doing their other business. It may sounds weird but to some people they just like this kind of weird habit. It is hard to change some of our weird habit, right? Your this discussion seems funny but interesting, my friend...

What is the meaning of L.M.A.O. friend and I am talking about talking on the phone when you are in toilet or give the answer of anybody questions from toilet I want to know this habit is good or bad.

When I am at home, I don't think anything about talking to someone when I am in the bathroom. However, when I am at other people's houses or somewhere out in public, then I think that it isn't really an appropriate habit to have. Of course, even then I will still respond from time to time because of the fact that I do have children and there could be an emergency that could happen at any time. That is just a part of being a parent.

You are right in emergency we should talk from anywhere but always is not good habit. But if child is small and calling us then we can talk from toilet also.

That is ok, if the one who is telling that someone is waiting for me can tell me in the toilet, I can also respond to that but the best thing would be to just wait and ask the person also to wait till the needed one is coming from toilet.

I think it's okay if we are at our own home. Sometimes my son would ask me something when I am in the toilet, so I had to reply to him. I know some people can talk on their mobile phone when in the toilet. I have a friend who once dropped her mobile phone in the toilet bowl. Eeew! I'll never use that phone again.

Ohhh yes if child is small and they calling us then we should replied even we are in toilet. Heeheh...danger experience dropped mobile phone in toilet why they cant live for some time without mobile.

I know we live in a society where we can be connected to other people 24/7 but that doesn't mean we should. There are things we should do in private and going to the bathroom is one of them. Honestly at home I talk with my boyfriend while i am in the bathroom sometimes but I never take phone calls or send messages while on the toilet. And I don't have friendly chit chat in a public restroom. The closer you are to someone the more of your private life they will see and home I treat differently than a public location.

To believe or not,I am replying you in my toilet:)-
It's a little bit strange?but I think this is just very common,I usually read newspaper or read news on my phone when I sit in toilet,sometimes,I just take my computer into my toilet just like this time.
I think the time in the toilet is a little boring,so I have to do someting to get the time through.

I think if you are in the bathroom, using the toilet and answer people outside the bathroom you are alert to listen to what other people say and do. It can be a concern for others. I, myself do the same. I sometimes read books, magazines as well being on the toilet. It's relaxing. Have a wonderful day!

Friend ohh your habit is reading book in toilet yes I think most of the people have same habit. But friend talking from or replied from toilet I think some uncomfortable. But thanks to response because I know different people different habit.

Yes this is funny discussion but facts of life some people have such habit. But this is not good habit because toilet is not good place and we open our mouth for replying and some bacteria can enter into our mouth. Thanks for response.

Haha this was a funny discussion. At first I thought you meant to reply to discusions on mylot from the toilet If that's the case then I do that couple of times myself too haha!
Anyway no i don't reply from the toilet, or maybe only to my sis i guess. I don't know if that's a good habit or not but I don't do it hehe!!

Well I do not do this myself but my mother does. Except when she does not feel well of course. Now my dad, it's a VERY private thing. YOu can not even TALK to him with the door closed. You have to be out of the room away from the door and he must hear us in the other room. Bless his heart he married someone who has no qualms or embarrasment of such things.

Hmmm means your habit is also bad friend we are seat in toilet only for 10 to 15 minutes some time only 5 minutes then why some urgent work is came and not wait for 5 minutes only. Thanks for response. Gnt sd.
