What do you have to offer?

Our connection to the world around us grows stronger each time we make the conscious decision to focus on the needs of our fellow human beings. Whatever our individual skills may be, we no doubt have much to offer those whose lives have been negatively impacted by circumstances beyond their control. Our selflessness binds us to these individuals, ensuring that we are both changed for the better by the union. Those who benefit from our gifts of compassion will remember us fondly and perhaps be inspired to share their eventual abundance with others. We can also take pride in the fact that we are not sitting idly by while others suffer but are making an effort to create a wave of positive change. The gifts of service we give will help us establish a more intimate bond with humanity. Let's give some thought to just what we may have to offer today.

I have myself as the most worthy wealth with my potential of qualities, abilities and capacities being who I am.I do alstrustic gesture of concern for others by doing volunteer work, I contribute to charity each month, I'm a supporter and encourager for people. I'm at service for my loved ones. I think there are much we can do for being ourselves. Sharing knowledge and suggestion solutions for each others problems.

The best thing we ca offer, aside from our prayers, is to be as positive as we can with regard to everything bad that is happening around us. It would be a joy for people who are suffering to see smiling faces of people that care. We may not have any material things to give but just being nice is something worth considering.

Yes. And even if the other person you are giving those kindness are actually not returning it back, you on the other hand benefited knowing that you did a good thing. It would be nice if everyone would just keep on smiling right? Thanks, too for this wonderful discussion.

I do one thing, it may seem silly, but it's free and very easy to pass on. I try to pass a laugh around and if I can't find a full laugh, at least a smile. Usually I laugh at myself, but soon others catch on and it just makes their day a little bit better.

Hi Pose: I agree with you. I would say that's the way our world works. Some persons just think about what others can give them instead of what they can give to make this world a better place and how to use your talents and that's probably the reason why they don't receive the gifts from other people. As we learn to offer we also receive.

Benevolence and compassion are perhaps the most needed qualities which every human should be having in plenty. Measures of love offered beyond measure to the needy suffering lot is sure get rich dividends.

Hello Pose. There is so much for us to offer in this world, but of them all that we can offer, I think, is not to offer fish, but to teach people how to fish. This way they can make their own life more interesting and they will be surely capable of supporting themselves with the skill or knowledge they have mastered to reduce the suffering of not being able to make money or to live on. This is what a teacher is supposed to do at school. Anyone can be a good teacher to show his or her students hot to fish. Thank you for the instructive and meaningful discussion, my dear friend. Have a good day.

Hi william,I'm sure that you are a good teacher because you are a compassionate person who understands what children will need in life. Teach them also the importance of kindness and assure them that everyone has something to give. A hand up is always better than a hand out. Thank you for sharing. Blessings.

Hi bluegemini, If you had nothing to offer, you would not be here. I'm sure that you have plenty to offer to those around you. How about your friendship? You can offer to be friends with someone new to the area or to someone who has few friends. How about kindness? How about a smile? These are all things that anyone can give. Think up some more on your own and challenge yourself to get started today. Thank you for responding. Blessings.
