I like drinking water. And usually since I'm so tempted with drinking Pepsi, I resist it by quenching my thirst with water. Sometimes I can drink a gallon or 5 liters of water and I have to go to the bathroom almost every 30 minutes. I know generally people say that the more water you drink, the better because your colon is cleaned. But I've also read that drinking lots of waters can also make your bladder (or was it liver) overwork itself which is also a bad thing. So is drinking more than 3 liters of water bad?

Like everything else, too much of something is bad. And too much water in your body is also not healthy even though water is good. I think you mean the kidneys will overwork itself. The liver will only overwork if you drink intoxicated drinks, medications. The required amount of drink per day is just 8 glasses of water.

Oh, my bad. It's the kidneys. But I really love putting stuff in my mouth, may it be a straw or food. That's actually a big problem I have. I either eat too much or drink too much. But I never smoke.
