I can easily follow rules but I'm just wondering why some can't follow accordingly. Do you think they don't understand it clearly? Simple rules like "Don't Spit", "no jaywalking", "Don't smoke in public places"..etc
What do you think mylotters is it really hard to follow rules?

i don't think its "hard" to follow rules, i just think we are a society of people who don't like to feel controlled, and rules i guess are away of controlling us. it may be harder for teenagers etc to folow rules, because they are eager to assert their independence, and what better way that to rebel lol!

You are right chicks teenagers nowadays are so curious in anything. They don't think if it's good or bad they just want to try everything that comes up in their minds.
Also, maybe it depends of the kind of government 'cause I see in other countries they always follow rules even if no one is watching 'cause they are used to it.
Maybe lack of disciplinary action that's why they tend to bend the rules just to make life interesting. What do you think?

I've seen those on tv and it was so scary! But it's a bit funny seeing some guys broke the glass on the store and took all they want, they thought they own the world. While seeing that I wish I was there so that I can have some! Just a thought though. I know what they've done is wrong and need to be punished by law.

hi jenith,
rules are supposed to be for everyone for the reason that things get organized. but very few follows. why? you will ask. it is because these people are undisciplined and are terribly hard headed.

it needs iron hands.
well, i will say it the other way. what we need is strict implementation. and people in the government who are honest in their work, those who do not side with anyone. no "palakasan" system.

hello Tigeraunt! definitely they need that.
Better start with ourselves. Follow rules even if no one is watching. Be a model. We can't rely to our government aside for whom-to-know system, they are also corrupt. No wonder why lot of Filipinos go abroad! I don't think that because we are born smart many foreigners hire us, the truth is we have no choice. No matter how hard we work here in our country nothing will happen but if we work abroad by just a year we already have savings and we can say that we are secure financially.

No, it is not hard to follow simple rules. The problem lies with people who just don't care. I really get annoyed at people who smoke outside the doors at doctor's offices and/or hospitals. It's just plain inconsiderate of others. Some people may have lung diseases or asthma for instance. I do have asthma and this just sends me into an attack.

I've always had a pretty easy time following rules. I don't think that it really is difficult to follow rules. I think that some people just don't really like following them. I'm not saying that it's always the case, but I think that, for some people who don't, this might be the case, whether they're a member of mylot or not. Not everyone cares about rules and following them.

I think it's the lack of strict monitoring by the authorities that make those people not follow those rules religiously. If they see no authority around, they will do what is prohibited. I guess, actual sampling of the implementation of the penalties should always be shown on TV.
That way, people will know and be warned , that one will really be penalized if he /she don't follow.

Well, if that is the case it could be reported to a more higher authority.
