* What can I do?
Personal measures to improve air quality
In transport:
* Avoid unnecessary travel
* Holiday in the vicinity plan, avoid long flights
* Often go walking, cycling, change to tram, bus and train
* Form carpools, but instead to ride in a car
* Slow speed
* In the state park motor
During heating:
* Room temperature generally lower - in the living rooms to 19 to 21 degrees Celsius, in the bedroom and adjoining rooms to 16 to 18 degrees Celsius
* Ventilate only short and strong (3 to 5 minutes by pulling)
* Windows, doors and facades better isolate
* Close to shops at night
* Heating maintained properly
* Replace old heating system with modern technology, or remodel
* Individual heating costs in multi-family dwellings require
In the workplace:
* Promote recycling
* Use low-emission materials
* Switch to environmentally friendly technology
* Clean exhaust
* Choose low sulfur fuel oil
* Heating, combustion and process heating systems modernization
* Shipping by rail instead of by truck
* Save energy (electricity, fuel oil, natural gas)
In the household:
* Produce less waste (check out the shopping already)
* Organic kitchen and garden waste composting
* Separately collected waste: paper, glass, aluminum and scrap metal
* Dispose of waste properly: batteries, waste oil, fluorescent tubes, solvents
* No illegal waste burning in the fireplace or in the garden
* Regional products without considering the long distance transport
* Solvent-free paints, varnishes, cleaners, adhesives, aerosol cans and wood preservatives

Hi,
the already known must make provisions to mention I did not, so as not thus to a new and lively as good problem-centered:
Dog feces!
The increasing rise of allergies due to these air pollution. Just so some diseases that could be assigned yet. Dog waste is a problem so far deliberately secretive, and it drift all people, even the very young, and not the dog owner.
Have a nice day.

What I can do to prevent air pollution is to choose products that are air-friendly. A lot of products that we are using are made with chemicals that affects the air. I've seen from another site some ways to put a lid on products that pollute, I've copied them below:
1. Select products that are water-based or have low amounts of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
2. Use water-based paints. Look for paints labeled "zero-VOC."
3. Paint with a brush, not a sprayer.
4. Store solvents in air-tight containers.
5. Use a push or electric lawn mower.
6. Start your barbecue briquettes with an electric probe, or use a propane or natural gas barbecue.
Also growing plants is really important. If each household could plant a tree, it would definitely make a huge difference in the future. Let us do it for the next generation.

one of the huge contributors to air pollution is the transport sector. by all means, if we can move by using a means that does not burn fuels, then that's a better alternative for being mobile. for examples, walking to move from one place to another. we can support the construction of sidewalks and pedestrian pathways. then, we can bike from our homes to our destinations of choice. again, we can advocate for bike lanes to be constructed. or use more the public transport to minimize burning of fuels.

Because there first a lot more than you think firstonce why I list here only the lightest and most commonly considered to:
At home:
sealed windows because of heating (oil or wood)
if you leave a room to make light of
Greater buying power outlets all devices connected to it and a room off overnight or when leaving the house current (Saves up to fourth in the current year)
Energy-saving devices!
On vacation:
Because it must always be a hotel? NO
How about one with camping?
POWER SAVES FUEL AND ENERGY
And is otherwise not always easy to throw garbage on the street but throw in the trash can next and just such trifles!

the best thing we can do to reduce air pollution is to grow more and more plants,and by reducing the quantity of vehicles that runs on diesel,and to aware people about the negative effects of air pollution on earth and living beings.also we need to reduce deforestation and continuous cutting of trees for our selfishness.
