social networking sites how does it work for you?

It works perfectly well for me. But I only used a few, facebook and multiply. As an online earner I need these social networking sit for my business. And it really pays to have one, with it's free advertising and all other feature to have your products advertised. I used it more on business than socializing, but I do appreciate it when I see my old friends and get in touch with them especially those that are out of the country. Sometimes I chat with them and sometimes I just read their post and i am happy just to see where they are right now even if we don't talk or chat, at least you know what's happening in their lives and vice versa. It's like getting in touch without really getting in touch.

Hi Neriz I used only facebook as my social networking site I have a friendster too but I seldom used it.I would love to use it also for some business that I have but I'm still looking what's best for me to do. Can you share me a one hehehhe. I also used it foe chatting meet my long lost school mate friends.

It is a great way to interact with people I do not get to meet very often. I do not like talking to strangers. And it is hard to keep tabs on all my friends, some of whom are now outside the country. I really like the fact that I get to interact with them and keep in touch with them... like the way you put it "getting in touch without really getting in touch".

i only left with one, and that is facebook. and facebook i guess is the only site that really made the unexpected happens. what i really like about facebook is the ability to get you reunited with old friends. but all in all, social net sites are just time wasting.

Social networking works well for me too! 
Since I and my siblings finished University and got our jobs, we don't see each other often.I am now residing in the city while my parents and my youngest brother live in the suburb. On the other hand, my eldest brother is out of the country working abroad. Facebook had made our communication very much open and easy that gives us the feeling of being together though very much apart in distance.

I only use facebook as my social networking site because my friends and my family members use this site to keep in touch with each others, I have 50 friends in my friend list and we use facebook to updating news or sharing pictures. I dont really have time to socializing on internet but I do check my facebook account whenever I got notification on my cellphone if my friend sent me a message or posted on my wall. But I think Mylot is also a social networking sites where in this site I can meet and interact with the other members. So I will add mylot as my favorite social networking websites.

I mainly used social networking sites for getting contact with my friends, family etc.. after reading I am interested to think in business view to change social netwoking site for increasing my earning. These type of sites contain huge visitors I will use their potential
