Are YOUR Vitamins Safe? Synthetic VS. Whole Food

Beware of Synthetic Supplements Do you know the difference between synthetic VS.natural whole food nutritional supplements? There are so many brands and types of vitamins to choose from, yet the various brands are far from being equal. So, then what variables drive that choice? When it comes to buying dietary supplements, we have two choices: buy according to price, or buy according to quality. Buy the cheapest supplement and you'll end up with synthetic supplements, an inferior product that not only may not improve your health, but can even make you sick. Many brands are a waste of money, yet trade marketing tactics will not reveal such. In fact, most over the counter brands, regardless of price, are synthetic and contain impurities or additives that could actually make you worse. Now that vitamins have become a popular market, store shelves are filled with attractive bottles. Even 'health food' stores sometimes stock shelves with high-priced yet synthetic products. The cheapest brand is fine when it comes to products such as toilet paper or kleenex, but you are not ingesting those products. Think twice....

I really do hope my vitamins are safe. Luckily I try to eat natural foods from the source.
