Good day Fellow Mylotters, The weather here at our country seems to be really unpredictable. So it is better to be ready at anytime. Just like what happened this afternoon, when I left home, the sun shines too brightly as there is no sign that rain will fall. But, after a couple of hours, the clouds started to dim. Then suddenly the rain fall. Good thing, I was able to bring my small umbrella with me because if not, I dont have a choice but to walk under the rain.

I agree... I remember when I was still going to school, I hate bringing umbrella with me because it adds weight to to my bag. But most of the days when I won't bring it with me, the rain will fall. I go out sometimes with the sun raging hot and then suddenly the rain will fall in the afternoon. SO to prevent that I agree w have to make preventive measures and be ready for whether change.

hi there pbbbsra, absolutely. bring an umbrella do add up an extra weight inside the bag. perhaps, a simple rain coat can be a great substitute since it is quite light in terms of weight rather than bringin an umbrella.

It’s even more hassle when you’re riding a motorcycle for work, school or somewhere with this kind of weather. I usually feel sick whenever the weather changes so fast. There were times that it’s so hot then suddenly you’ll get soaked in the rain. Of course I can’t use umbrella while driving and I don’t have a raincoat.

Thanks stowyk. It has been more dangerous to ride in the rain because it’s slippery and it has some effect on our vision while driving.

The important thing regardless of the weather is that we have full rest and don't let you're sweat dry on it's own use a towel to clean them up. that usually cause the rise of different illness like fever, colds or vulnerable also to dengue diseases.

My parents always told me that I should always keep myself dry especially with sweat and being soaked in the rain. I usually don't have problems with sweat because I sweat a lot. Most of the time, it's the weather that makes me feel sick. I got a headache if it's too hot and a cold if it rains. It's even worse if it's a mixture of both heat and rain, I mean whenever the weather changes that fast.

hi airasheila. indeed the weather here in the country has been unpredictable to say the least. i noticed that at the start of the day, everything is bright and sunny and then in the late afternoon/early evening, it will start to rain really hard and it'll usually last for a good hour or two. i've learned my lesson already as there have been a couple of occasions that i've reached hoem drenched in the rain. it was no fun at all. no fun!!! so instead of getting wet through my bones and perhaps get sick, i just bring an umbrella. in fact i have one here in the office just in case there's a big downpour here in the area where our office is located. anyway, best advise for everyone is to be prepared.

I guess it's happening not only in our country but to all parts of the world. Some places where it's suppose to be summer but they got rain too which even caused flash floods. It's really unusual and this may be the effects of man's destruction to our mother earth resulting to climate change.Anyway, it's rainy season in our place so we must be ready at all times and bring protection either for rain or from heat of the sun.

With the weather so unpredictable, it really pays to be always ready. I always have my folded umbrella on my bag, in case it rains. This unpredictable weather is what a folding umbrella for. At least, you don't have to always have an umbrella in tow, but just there inside your bag hidden.

Hello airasheila, Things have changed indeed, we didn't even have small tornadoes before. now we see them every single tpyhoon that comes into our country. I remember back in october of 2006 where we had this huge storm and the eye of it was in our region, it was so strong that it destroyed the branches from our trees.always bring your umbrella rain or shine because you never know when you need them. besides, we have la nina and el nino plus climate change you can never tell when rain strikes. have a nice day

True, it's ok to plan for the worst - it will happen. One must not forget to bring an umbrella even when the weather looks fine. I generally do not bring an umbrella whenever I go out but I'm already at home by the time it rains. If the weather is windy I can't risk using an umbrella because it would be damaged and I make it a rule not to go places when rain is most likely.
