Switch off your monitor while you are downloading something and you need to keep on the computer for hours. When you are in one room of the house, make sure you have switched off the lights and fans of other rooms.

Unplug the appliance when not in use, its the best way to serve energy thats what I always remind the people in my house. Not only that your preventing the cause of fire, but your assured electric is not flowing. It's safe and a lot of savings.

in our country we have blankets for geasers, you place the blanket on the geaser (please note this is blanket specially for geasers they are not normal blankets) your water stays warmer longer in the geaser and you can switch the geaser of for a long time, before heating the water up

One of the easiest ways to reduce electricity consumption is to use fluorescent light bulbs. They now have the compact type that screw into the socket just like the incandscent bulbs. Not only do they use less electricity, they also last up to 5 years. They do cost more initially than the regular bulbs, but since they last so long, they will wind up costing less in the long run. I started buying a couple a month and now have them all over my house. They are great.

I think we can use solar electricity to save electricity and to save electricity bills. I think most probably solar electricity will come very soon in all places.

Don't use the washing machine for washing small pieces of clothing like handkerchiefs, socks, panties, briefs and brassieres.Turn off the lights when not in use. Turn off the TV when nobody's watching. These are some of the few tips.
