I don't remember much about things learnt in school, except maybe for certain basic things. For example, I can still remember those Chemistry symbols from the periodic table. I can recall some English words where our teacher taught us how to pronounce them properly. Then, there is History, my favourite subject and I can remember certain dates nowadays as compared to when I was a student. Mathematical equations, I can still remember some of them. However, I admit that I am getting older and it takes sometime to jog my memory and I do forget alot of most that were taught in school.

I just have a notion, I don't remember things and specially in details. It's been too long and it's time to school to change the way they teach us things cause most of them are not useful in life.

Off course I remember some, how can I forget them when all I did when I was in school was study. Not a very enjoyable and thrilling school life though. But i remember some of the lessons thought to me. I hope to pass them to my children too when they will go to school.

Hi, i think that i dont rememeber too much from school. Sure , i rememeber things, which i use in my daily life( i mean part of maths languages.... and little more). But i think that at school kids learn manymany things, which are not useful, we learn more useful things in our life. I think that knowledge form school is only 1, 2 or 5% our knowledge which we use in life. Addictionally, at school we learn in theory but in life we learn practice. Most important thing - experience- we learn not at school:)

I must admit that I am a bit forgetful now. Maybe because of age, perhaps there are too much information that our brains can't handle or our memories can't remember. When I've given birth to my only son, I have agreed to try normal delivery without anaesthesia. That is because they say that anaesthesia can cause forgetfulness and I know that it is almost impossible to experience painless delivery with only one shot of it.

I remember a few lessons I learned in school since I can still teach my daughters in their school assignments. But only a few I do remember. Some I will just say to them that I forgot that topic already but I learned that in school. It's pretty hard to remember all of those especially when our aging is increasing just like me.

I remember some of them, but not all of them. like several days ago where some discussion ask about simple math question about linear equation. It's been so long since i do math manually so i try to do it instantly and i cannot get the answer right, after the poster told me the answer then i begining to see where i made my mistakes.

We can't remember exactly everything from school. But I remember most of them. I guess we should still find time going back to our notes in order to not forget what we have learned. I don't remember everything but most of the ideas are still there. I think that our school life and all its phases is related with each other. What we learned in our early years helped us to learn easier when we go to higher education levels. I still remember most of my lessons especially in college because I never stop to read. I don't want to put all my four years into waste if I forget everything.

I don't really remember all the things the school taught me. I just remember practical things in school that could help in my daily lives. This will help me decide good. Well in life, it is not really about where or what or school do you came from but it is on how you handle life and decide it for yourself.

Yes, definitely, I still remember the lessons that I had learned from school. I should say not all but as far as my memory is concerned, it's like 70% of what was taught from me when I was studying is still on my head. Maybe because even though I already finished my studies, I still love to read books. That is my secret of remembering the lessons that I had from school.

It is like in the gameshow "are you smarter than a grade 5"(am i right on the title of that show??hehehe)..anyway, yeah, just like on the gameshow where the contestants tend to forget to answer simple stuffs and in the end the kids on the show shows that they smarter on the old ones. What i am trying to say is that, yeah, maybe as we grow old we tend to forget things that are not really connected on what we do daily, but, when we are ask on the things that are connected on what we really do i think we are really smarter than a grade 5:))

We can't remember everything since childhood, but good times will surely remains. Same thing with things at school, old days at school. We remember those things that catches our interest or our favorite subject or maybe those friends and teaches that made something special in our lives . But not everything...and many things are added in our memory lane and memory box as well. have a good day jaiho®

I don't remember everything, but I guess a lot of the knowledge is retained somewhere in the back of my head. I'm sure it's the same for everyone :)

I remember very little from being in school at all but i have been out of school for a long time too. I think the school should take more world helpful stuff. For example like how to use a checkbook, how to manage money and many other things that are just not taught in school the way they should be.

I always say school is for exposure to different subjects and ideas in the world. We won't remember every detail, but we will at least have heard of more than those who do not go to school.
